Hello, New member shopping for a new bed and seeking some advice! We are considering the Hastens "Comfortable II" adjustable bed (2 twins combining for a King)---does anyone have any experience/advice with any of the adjustables offered by Hastens? We currently have a 7 year old Shiffman King with a sagging mattress. The box spring seems to be in fine condition. We are considering buying a Vi Spring mattress and using the Shiffman box spring. It may be the only option for getting the Vi Spring we like within our budget, since their box springs are quite expensive. Obviously the salesperson advised against this, but some folks put a mattess on a platform with no box spring at all, so why would another decent quality box spring not work? Are we crazy to be thinking of this, and has anyone here tried such a thing? Thanks!! |
