At bottom of iComfort ad sign it says '120 day risk free in home trial'. To me that means if you don't like it, you can return it with no restocking fee.
But, I used the 1-time exchange priviledge from a Stearns and Foster, paid the upcharge and got the Revolution. Because of that, Sears says the 120 in home trial is voided and the bed is a final sale.....
of course, the Sears chump who does the exchange process over the phone makes no mention of that. If the customer doesn't ask all the questions, Sears let's one screw themselves. Sears sales clerks and many of the phone reps are a bunch of ill informed, unprofessional chumps.

I can speak for the iComfort as I've had the Revolution model here for 4 weeks. It's 4.75" of memory foam on top of 7" core regular foam. If you lay on one, I think you'll find you sink into it a lot. I thought that was cool and all, but after a week or so, my spine didn't think so. I don't it is ever good for your butt or hips to sink too much into a mattress, so watch out for that.
The next iComfort down, Genius is awfully firm. Lotta pushback when laying on my side. too much difference between Rev. and Genius. I've seen an Insight in Sears which has a lot of sink in the middle. Perhaps it was damaged. Maybe kids jumped up and down on it. Don't know.
I was very disappointed by a $1k twin...

Thanks for the post above. Couple days ago I realized my err in thinking it would be possible to do an exchange and then a possible refund on that exchanged unit. If that were possible, many more people would be taking advantage of that. So, basically, I had wishful thinking that was loosely confirmed by a couple Sears sales associates.
About the adjustable bed bases .. I would love to try one at home. I've tried them in the stores several times and they're fantastic!
About the beds I've tried recently - I'm being extra picky this time around. I know no bed is perfect and nothing guarantees a perfect nites sleep. But, basically, I've had
1) a basic open coil low end mattress with 2" ordinary HD foam topper
2) entry level Stearns and Foster with 4" or ordinary foam in comfort...

I would love to buy a nice expensive firm mattress like Stearns and Foster or something, but they are about $1600-2000 for a king. While I dont mind spending the money and I could buy one from Mattress Firm here with a one year full refund, I am scared that it will be fine for a year and then in two years it will sag, the return period is up and as we know, no one intends to honor any kind of warranty. And then I'm out nearly $2,000 and furious.
!
Well, I had a Stearns and Foster traditional line twin XL mattress in house for 4 weeks. It had the individual coils, foam encasement, silk infused cover, .... but it also came dogged down with four 1" layers of some ordinary foam .. there's two...

Regular polyurethane foam 'doesn't do much'. It's not temperature sensitive like memory foam. In my entry level stearns and foster, the PU foam indented in less than a week. The bed assumed a shape and that was it. Regular PU foam is not known to be very pressure relieving. I've been on a iComfort Revolution memory foam for 1 1/2 weeks, and for sure, the memory foam allows me to lay much longer on my tender right shoulder than the S&F plush bed....

Well, I am pretty interested in the memory foam. But we've tried Tempurpedic (firm ones like Advantage) and my husband is not a huge fan of the sinking. At least with Sam's it's returnable. But, given our track record lately, I just do not know what to do!
So--- since my husband isn't certain about the memory foam, we finally just ordered their super cheap firm flippable 8" mattress for like $300.
Night Therapy firm 8" firm king with 700+ 12 guage coils from Sam's + a topper! ;) http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod3710155&navAction=

Hi all,
Since my husband does not like the feel of Tempurpedic, we've decided to go firm firm mattress with a good latex topper. (Maybe like 1" memory foam b/t the mattress & latex topper if needed)
I believe we have narrowed our search to the following:
1.) Stearns and Foster "Foxbridge" Luxury Firm (Mattress Firm will price match for $1,799 for the King set) http://www.mattressfirm.com/Stearns-and-Foster-Foxbridge-Firm-P94.aspx
2.) The Simmons Beautyrest World Class extra firm (30 day return also for $1,799)
They feel quite similar in person, both very firm, little to no bounce. They also have similar coil count, foam, etc...
Any thoughts on long term durability b/t the two (NO SAGGING)? Stearns and...
Havertys or Sleepys? - chaiwd

I would like to buy a queen size set. Now I focus on two kinds. One is Paces Ferry Ultra Firm from Stearns & Foster which is sold $1899 by Havertys, the other is Stearns and Foster Deacon Ridge Luxury Ultra Firm Mattress which is sold $1619 by Sleepys. I tried 2 mattresses and felt similar comfortable. What is the difference between them? Should I choose the cheaper one? Thanks....
