Re: customer reviews Saatva - terrieb

I just replied to another post about Saatva but just to recap, we have a Saatva plush which I don't find plush so I guess it depends what you are looking for. I think it's a quality mattress, seems so anyway, but I wanted something softer and expected it to be a lot more plush. I keep a topper on it.

Well I see this is an old post but since it was revived, I have a Saatva "plush" and it's not plush to me. I think it's a good quality mattress, just not soft like I expected. It's extremely tall.

UPDATE REVIEW - This is MrSandman - back in May of 2013, I posted, asking if anyone had any information or opinions about how the Saatva mattress held up over time. I did not receive many replies right away, and I did not check back much after that.

Well, it has been about 2 and half years now since we purchased the mattress, and I am of the personal "opinion" (based on my personal experience) that the Saatva mattress does NOT hold up well, even over a relatively short period of time. Others may have different experiences.

We bought the Saatva - "Extra Firm" Luxury King mattress with the Saatva foundation, back in the Spring of 2013. All was well the first couple of years, but in the last few months, despite taking good care of the mattress and rotating it on...

You can go ahead with saatva plush. I write a lot of reviews about mattress so I have a good idea of how product works. Saatva is not a great brand but they are certainly giving a good competition to many top brands for their utmost quality and comfort. Any product of saatva plush will definitely work wonders for you given the fact that they offer a decent trial period and pro-rated and non pro-rated warranty that will take care of any technical issues.

Just wanted to bump this up since I still can't decide whether or not to try the Firm mattress....
Which Saatva firmness level is right for me? - The Yeti
Nov 2, 2015 6:43 AM
Hi all,

A little background:

We decided a month or so ago that it was time to replace our 15 year old mattress. The old mattress was a "Pillow Top" something or other and was on the softer side. I am a side sleeper, and for years have suffered with hip pain and numbness in my hands upon waking.

We got our Saatva Luxury Firm (their "medium soft" option) and I found that my hip pain was reduced and the hand numbness completely disappeared. I still had some hip pain, so I called Saatva and they sent me a very nice topper (absolutely free I might add!) to try and help me out...the topper has made the mattress softer overall, but the hip pain is now worse....and the hand numbness has returned.

Since I'm probably going to live with this mattress for another 15 years or more, I wanted to take advantage of Saatva's...

I am just starting the process of looking for the right mattress. Anyone have any comments on the longevity of the Saatva?...

Hello,shovel99,
Actually few mattress have over hitting problem. That's really a bad experience in summer season. Already mattdud gave you excellent suggestion. Supporting him. You can use soft cover for these summer and you can tern on your ceiling. That would be better for sound sleep. You also can use Saatva mattress and other soft mattress. I was originally skeptical about making a mattress purchase online, however, after my experiences with Saatva…I am very happy that I took the chance. I purchased my Saatva mattress in November 2014 and felt it necessary to wait until now before posting a review. I chose to write this simply because I relied on others reviews to help me make my decision to purchase....
Question About King Size Mattress - Grumpy342
May 14, 2016 5:31 PM
We recently purchased a Saatva Queen Mattress for our spare room. We have a King Serta Mattress in our Master Bedroom. It is only 1 year old and it has developed a ridge in the center. Prior to this we had a Kingsdown Mattress that lasted 22 Years before giving up the ghost. It never developed a ridge. As a test we have been sleeping on the Queen from Saatva for the last week and are extremely satisfied. My question is if we purchase a Saatva King Mattress how will it wear with respect to the ridge in the center? Will it be more like the Kingsdown or the Serta? We are a bit scared to make the move to changing our King size Mattress. Any experiences anyone has had with this would be a great help....
