I probably was a fool and ordered the latex from O-stock. Maybe it will be okay. It is all a crap shoot anyway. Even when you pay top dollar. I am still looking for a wool topper without chemicals and without paying an arm and a leg LOL.
How is that latex of yours working out Bill?...

I don't see anything about Europe or Dunlop though. The ad says they are made with Hevealux latex which is a propriety blend made here in the USA by Latexco. "Hevealux is made with 100% latex, natural origin, planet friendly biodegradable material. This eco friendly product is naturally hypo-allergenic, dust mite resistant, and will not support mildew or bacteria."
Prices range from $99 for a 1.5 inch 22 ILD twin, to $199 for a king in the same specs with free shipping. Seems like pretty good prices to me.

**On 2nd thought, prices are just OK as Foambymail beats both prices with a full 2 inch latex topper (soft or medium firmness), also with free shipping....

I am slowly adding to it as time goes on. So far I have an E. King sized 3 inch layer of latex (natural, dunlop, 48 ILD) and on top of
that I have the 1 inch Overstock 8 lb memory foam.
I am trying to decide what to buy next.
I'll let you know how it goes......

But I do have a Foamex Contact in Portland. So many problems locating actual Foamex brand for mattress projects online.
They can get you any Foamex brand on the official Foamex website.
http://www.foamex.com/brand.php
A foamex rep calls them 3 times a week. They are very nice to me, I don't work for them. I live across the river in Vancouver WA
The company is Perfect Fit
http://www.perfectfit.com
This company has a warehouse in portland.
Lots of special foam for cores or toppers from Foamex, like energia, reflex HR, reflex natural, reflex bounce or venus.
If you call perfect fit, ask for Gary. He can help you out.
Just make sure you know the "correct name" of the foam you want from foamex website so Gary can find the right foam.
Thanks....

Savvy Rest is both the most expensive, and the only vendor that doesn't accept returns (90-day exchange only). Also been in business the least amount of time (although the people and customer service and documentation are excellent).
Sleep EZ is the cheapest with a 90-day exchange and return policy. I think they have been in the business the longest, but I ruled them out for me (they were the only one of the three that couldn't provide materials documentation on their product, they've said some different things about synthetic vs natural, and talalay vs dunlop then i've read from a few other sites).
Habitat Futons is the middle in pricing (more towards Sleep EZ then Savvy Rest) and has a 180 day return policy. They've been in...

I'm about to do the same as you did, but my wife is a little afraid of the DIY approach (I'm very, very competent at DIY).
All of my figures come from Foam By Mail. I probably won't consider another supplier. They did, BTW, tell me over the phone that this was not chinese latex, if that makes a difference, and that it was 100% natural Talalay.
I did want to try the 2 twins, instead of 1 king (mainly to give her more options), but worry about the extra 2" in width. If its an issue, can I shave an inch off each side myself (our bed frame has an inset at the corners 77" wide max)?
I'm a stomach sleeper about 180 lbs. She's a side mainly, about 130 lbs, and she likes the top soft and "luxurious".
I figured a firm 36 ILD and...
