I have actually bought four sets of mattresses from them. The First go around was for my apartment in Manhattan. I was very happy with the sleep I was getting so I decided to also buy two sets for my summer rental. I also recommended them to my father and bought a new mattress for him. Sorry if it offends you that I'm a person who enjoys blogging and spreading the word when I find something I like. With a name like sleepysheepy it makes me think that you have some affiliation with that organization.....

Totally a great experience. I went to a couple of mattress stores and kept finding myself needing to spend over 2 grand for want I liked. I saw the Saatva Ad in the NY Times and decided to give them a try because they have a 30 day home trial and the mattress looked amazing. In the end I saved a ton of money and I love my jumbo 14" medium firm bed. I would reco this company to anyone.. They're very good to deal with...everyone was nice. ...

I actually purchased a queen size saatva mattress in June. It was only $799 and it is super comfortable. It is so plush and I feel like I am sleeping better than I had been for years. It's really cool that they sell their beds for such an amazing price and are still able to have such a quality product....

I bought a pillow-top hotel style mattress for only $1099 for a king. The mattress is unbelievably comfortable. The company I got it from is an online company called saatva....

Seriously, sleepysheepy organization? If you are implying a connection with Serta, there is none. I chose the name because I have a little stuffed sheep on my bed for inspiration.
I am just a frustrated mattress shopper looking for an honest opinion on Saatva. Unfortunately, there is not much to find online that seems genuine and not contrived by the company itself.

afranklyn--I am confused by your posts on Saatva mattresses.
On August 3, in one thread, you said you bought a Saatva mattress for around $800. In another thread on August 8, you posted that you bought a queen Saatva mattress for only $799 in June. On August 5, you posted in the first thread that you had the mattress for about 6 months. On August 5, in a third thread you said you purchased a king for $1099.
Just how many of these do you own? When did you buy them.....or did you?

After posting my interest in the Saatva Mattress, I must say I received an immediate reply from a "Real Person" regarding my interest in this mattress and my concerns regarding how this mattress would be a positive to my health issues. After literally months of ressearch both online regarding mattresses and going to "brick and mortar" mattress stores with still many of my questions left unanswered, I now am able to say I have found a wonderful mattresss and that happens to be the Saatva Mattress.
After making my original post I did receive a call from Ed Brien and he spent more time with me on the phone answering my questions then a sales person would have if I happened to go into a store and bought a mattress. After Mr. Brien answered all my questions and spent a great deal of his time on the phone...

I am also interested in the Saatva mattress; however, I could not find independent reviews on the internet. So, I sent for informative booklet. Not much more information was given in the booklet vs. their internet site. No price range or an explanation of exactly what materials are used in the mattress. It's stated made in America, good, but where in America? This looks like a wonderful mattress and the very limited reviews are all great, but it would be more reassuring, at least for me if I did see more reviews. If it is a great mattress where are all the people who purchased this mattress?...
Any Saatva Mattress owners out there? - ineed2sleep

Am interested in purchasing a new mattress. All reviews for the Saatva mattress seem to be positive, but there are so few of them. The price seems very reasonable and the specs seem to indicate a quality product, compared to the major brands. I was just wondering if there are any Saatva owners out there who would care to comment. I am interested in the comfort, durability and if anyone has had to return a Saatva for any reason, how was that experience. Also the length of time of your mattress use would be helpfull. Anyone with any recommendations other than Saatva please feel free to let me know. Shopping for a new matress is very frustrating.
Thanks,

Hello ineed2sleep,
I identify with how painful the mattress purchasing process is. I was looking for mattresses for my daughters and had gone to a few stores to check out various name brands. I found the entire experience demeaning and felt that I could never trust how much a good mattress actually costs.
I had seen ads for Saatva online and in a few magazines but thought they'd be out of my league until I clicked on the link. I really liked their whole approach to the consumer and the fact that i did NOT have to lay down on a mattress to test it out helped relieve rather than aggravate my stress levels. After a few discussions with them, I decided to trust my instincts and I ordered two of their flagship models.
So far, I have been pleased. Granted, the mattresses are...
