Buying online-Dreamfoam Bedding -Any opinions?

After many (probably way too many) years of service my current mattress is going the way of the dodo bird. I've been looking around and decided I can't afford the 2-3K for some of the name brand mattress systems. I was on Amazon the other day and the company Dreamfoam Bedding caught my eye. The reviews while recent have been very good. Anyone here familiar with this company? Specifically I'm looking at the "Ultimate Dreams" or perhaps the "Ultimate Dreams Eurotop" is I saved up a bit.

| In that price range you really don't have many options for a comfortable, quality bed. You can see if there are any local mattress manufacturers close to you, that is where I would start first. If nothing pans out for you there then the Dreamfoam products have great reviews, I personally wonder about longevity with them since it uses a foam base layer. |

| I've had my Ultimate Dreams Latex for a week now. IMO, it is the best value for the money and the service is hard to beat. This mattress feels every bit as good as my $1500 latex eurotop did when it was new 4 years ago. I think this bed may just outlive the comfort life of the expensive one simply because it doesn't have a euro top with foam that will fail. I plan to do surgery on that one in the near future. |
