Dunlop latex for Europeans

Hello, I reside in Ireland and we don't seem to be well served in this area. The only sources I have found thus far is a Vietnamese organization called kymdan who have a branch in Frankfurt. They seem fewer options on firmness. Their replies to my email queries were never adequately. Stuff like trail period..etc. There is EU consumer directive which states all online transactions are subject to a seven day "colling off" period, which this vendor did not confirm. A 90 by 190 centimeter mattress comes at 1100 Euros. When I called them on the phone they would only speak German or Vietnamese. They have Australian branches but wondering whether it is worth contacting them as I still might end up with an unsuitable mattress. The other option is the UK based Topsleep. These guys seem to confirm the EU consumer directive but very inadequate when it comes to information on the product itself. Just a generic "natural" latex is given. Nothing about options. The price difference between these two are huge. The former is 1100 Euro and latter around 300 Euro. Shipping is minimal coming at 35 Euro. I have not found any US vendor prepared to ship to me in a way which preserves my consumer ( warranty ) rights at an affordable price. Can anyone advise.? I am 5'6" and weigh around 130 pounds. I am medium build. I currently sleep on an air bed which is supposed to be top of the range but if i forget to pump it regularly I wake up with really bad hip and shoulder discomfort. |
