This is exactly why I am posting this question here. I want to buy a good mattress, but can't find much info from manufactures web sites. I am from a small town, and do know the store owner. Jimsocal: I agree with you that we as consumers do not have that much protection. We need more, much more I feel. The current law is to limited as to content and states covered. I would like to see a federal law effecting all states that required all manufactured of furniture, bedding, and toys to have to stipulate exactly what was in our products, or they could not be sold in the United States under penalty of high fines.
