Upgrade to a King mattress

We are upgrading to a king from the Queen. We have been at Simmons for about 10 years now. I am a huge man 6 '4 215 lbs and have a soreness.I always think I should have a solid mattress, but after going and putting on some, I see I really prefer something a bit softer.The tempersoleic beds are also. So, I see costco selling some foam mattresses having mixed reviews. I was tempted to try it once and if I did not like it, bring it back. However, none of them come with a platform. Should I just find a cheap spring box around town or should I get a specific platform? Any hint on what to do about a platform would be great. This message was modified Apr 18, 2018 by a moderator
