Another layer of latex?

So, i've found a fairly sleep-able configuration, but i'm still not completely comfortable.

3" lux
3" hdhq-36
3" total eggcrate (supersoft and hd36)
1" fbm soft latex

I've tried so many configurations in the past month, involving these layers, more pu foam, memory foam, cuddlebed, etc. Right now it sleeps a bit firm, but supportive with a little give, and last night it wasn't hot! So, i'm *almost* satisfied.

I am, however, tempted to get another layer of soft latex. Wondering if this will make it even more comfortable, maybe a *little* more cushy. I'd probably eliminate one layer of eggcrate if i did so. I think i do like the feel of latex...supportive yet rather bouncy, kind of like springs. Kind of!

What do you think?

I'm loving our latex. Best nights of sleep I've had in a while, which is saying something with a 5 month old. ;-)

I really like the 2" of soft latex we have on ours. The 6" of fim was very sturdy to lay on, but I couldn't have fallen asleep comfortably on it. The 2" of soft really gives it some nice cush. ;-) But I don't have any of the layers you already have, so who am I to say anything?
