Hi, I have been searching for a mid layer for a DYI latex mattress. Currently have a 3 inch Dunlop medium/firm for base layer. Anyone have experiences with Overnightmattress.com Talalaya LI toppers? thanks |

I didn't know they were carrying latex and including them in their mattresses now. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to try latex. I bought a basic M-Grade + memory foam mattress from them about 3 years ago when I first heard of them. I almost liked the mattress but not quite and so returned it. At first they were going to charge me a fee because they found a hair on two on the mattress. I talked with them and told them the truthe - that we kept the mattress in its cover the whole time EXCEPT one time when we took it out of it's cover to inspect it, so it must have gotten the hair from that one time. Whatever I told them, I guess I convinced them to go ahead and take it back which they did and I got the full refund. So I would buy from them again but I would be ULTRA careful not to get so much as a speck of dirt or a hair on their mattress, and take a damp cloth to the outer cover and inspect it carefully before returning it. As far as I know they are one of the few places offering a 120 night with exchange on latex toppers, so that's a big plus. I didn't read their entire return policy carefully but I would go over it carefully before buying and also talk to them on the phone. I am interested in their 19ILD latex but I really want 2" instead of 3". If you buy 2 twins by the way, it's cheaper than buying a King. Go figure - it's the same exact size! And better to have it in 2 pieces, anyway in my opinion, so you can make layer changes if necessary. From their Return Policy (emphasis mine):
