The cheapest I have found so far is Rockymountainmattress.com due to their free shipping, at least now (says "limited time"). They actually raised their prices, they were only $100 or $105 if I remember right, a coupla months ago. But still the cheapest due to the free shipping.

Rockymountain natural Talalay is what I recommend.... OOPS! I just checked their site and it seems they NO LONGER carry the Natural Talalay toppers, only the natural Dunlop which I would not recommend based on my having bought a 32ILD one from SleepEZ that feels like a 36-40ILD - way too firm and not enough spring to it. You might want to call Rockymountain's 800# and ask them if they still carry or plan to carry the natural Talalay processed toppers again. They WERE the best and cheapest source for them. As I recall someone ordered from them and was very satisfied.

So, shoot... Anyone know where to buy a cheap Talalay Natural topper now?

SleepEZ ( http://sleepez.com/mattresscomponents.htm) seems to be the ONLY source for natural Talalay toppers, now, in less than 3" thicknesses. If I am wrong, will someone please tell me where else? I like SleepEZ but I think their $49 per order shipping on toppers is just plain ridiculous and makes me want to buy elsewhere. I know I bought 2 toppers from them and even on 2 the actual shipping price was only about $25 but they charged me $49. I thnk the actual cost of shipping a 1" topper is probably only about $12-15 so I find their shipping objectionable. I tried to get them to listen to reason and charge me less but they would not.

And they offer FREE shipping on their mattresses! Go figure. I guess they just don't like "messing with" toppers and so charge more to discourage sales of them??

And does anyone know where to buy a 1" or 1.5" SUPER SOFT Natural Talalay topper? I'm talking 14-20ILD not the 22ILD SleepEZ offers. It might be soft enough, but I'm skeptical. I want a super soft one. A guy once told me that LI does make a 14ILD topper and he recommended I try it, but he warned me that it would be very hard to find. I've yet to see one anywhere for sale.

Budgy? Does anyone even still make one this soft?? I may have to call LI and ask about it.

Jimsocal:  sleeplikeabear now carries 20 ILD in natural talalay.  But is expensive.  They have softer blends as well.  I am tempted to buy the 19ILD blend, because that is about what I think I could use.

I have not heard O'stock selling used latex Jim, did you mean to say used, or seconds?  Seconds perhaps, but not used.

Sandman, I didn't see the "natural" on the Rockymountain page describing Talalay. I see now that it does say "100% Natural". I could have sworn, though, that a coupla months back, they had both 100% Natural and Blended and that the 100% Natural was in bold or underlined or something, so I was confused. Maybe I'm confusing them with SleepEZ. RM did raise their price a bit, didn't they? I also remember their Talalay as being $105 for a Twin, or even $98, somewhere closer to $100, at any rate...

Thanks for the Sleeplikeabear reminder. I always forget about those guys because usually their prices are a bit higher than others. Anyway, I took a look there and I found that they DO have 14ILD latex, in the Talatech! This sounds like a great way to try Talatech because the 14 is what this guy told me to get for my bad shoulder. 1" may not be enough but it's all I can afford any time soon. If I like it and it's not enough I'll order another 1" later. If you get the 19ILD we can compare notes. $113 for 1" Twin with Free shipping ain't bad at all, in fact it's a bargain.

Leo, I may be confused on the O'Stock.com latex, too. But I could've sworn someone posted that they got a piece or pieces from them that looked used. For now, let's say not. If I get time I'll look through some old posts. Guess I'm just getting danged unreliable these days! Anyway, after that whole "fake" Venus foam episode, I am reluctant to buy foam from O'Stock. I may call them soon to see if they'll take my Venus back and give me a refund. Someone said they got a refund just by sending a photo of the foam? I'd be up for that...especially since I'm pretty sure I no longer have any proof I bought it there...

I don't think RM prices went up, I have been looking at their mattresses and they have a natural talalay (from LI) 9" queen size for $1389.95.  It is zoned core 7" with 2" topper with firmness of your choice.  That's not too bad.  They also have a Dunlop (Latex Green) that is 7" (probably not thick enough).  Check it out.  Foamsweetfoam also has zoned latex mattresses (I think, it does get confusing).

It says "starting at $104.95" but then right below in the menu the lowest price is $109.95. And I could be wrong, but I THINK before it started at $99.95. Not sure about that, though. In any case it's a fair price with free shipping.

Their prices are higher.  I bought a 2" queen 32 ILD talalay for $230 a couple months ago and it is now $270.  1" of 24 ILD went up $9.  They are now pricing the 2" 32 much higher than the 2" 24 for some reason.   At the time I thought it was crazy that the 2" was less than 50% more than the 1".

At the time I also had a 5% off coupon.  Not sure if that is still available.

I think demand is going up for the 100% natural talalay, so their new purchases might be coming in at higher costs from Latex International.

While I am complaining, why is it that they only sell the queen size in glued pieces?  When I know LI does make queen size sheets now.   On Sleeplikeabear website they say they can get a piece without glue but it costs extra, huh???

I get tired of prices going up and no extra money coming in.  Where do they think we are getting extra money to pay these high prices?

Have they heard of competition and fair pricing?  The longer I procrastinate and decide what to do the more likely I won't be able to pay the high prices they want. 

Sandman thanks for letting us know RM DID raise their prices. I was beginning to think I might be nuts. Glad to see my memory wasn't wrong, after all. I wonder if LI raised their prices. I know one thing is that shipping seems to be going up and up at most places, so maybe their free shipping caused the price changes.

Has anyone bought queen size latex toppers that have no glue seam other than RMM?   I wish I could order directly from Latex International.  I may email them or call and see who they sell the queen toppers to without seams.
