I am used to having pillow cases with a zippered closing mechanism. Now I switched pillow cases and my new pillow cases remain open all the time; they have no closing mechanism at all. I find this to be very agitating. I have considered using pins like tailors do to pin my pillow cases shut, but I worry that they may come out inadvertently whilst I sleep and impale me. I have considered safety pins, but I worry that they may bump into my eyes or something whilst I sleep. What is the best and safest way to solve this problem? |
Get a sewing machine and learn how to do zippers and/or buttonholes? |
Have your pillow inside the pillowcase. Take the bottom free end of the pillowcase and fold it over the pillow. Then take the second loose end and fold it under on itself so that loose end is now also inside the the pillowcase. You now have a neat looking closed end with folded edges. I like to call it the perogy-pillow. DianeK |
Excuse me for what I’m about to say may seem harsh…. Were you raised by wolves? Did you get thrown out of the house at a very young age? Didn’t you ever have chores while you were growing up? You seem to be extremely naïve and insecure from your posts. Do yourself a favor and apply a little common sense to your thought processes. Not owning basics (vacuum, iron, ect) or worrying about frivolous things such as wrinkles or maybe I’ll have to look into the laundry tub before I load it on top of the stuff left by the last user….(you could find a cleaner machine or even patronize a cleaner establishment), or even pillowcases that don’t close at the end is ridiculous. Experiment yourself with the little things ….the confidence you gain will help your self esteem and you’ll stop sweating the lumps in the mashed potatoes |
Methinks confusedbedbuyer is a TROLL. |
