Correct ILD Latex for a 3 year old?
Hi Everyone - Just wondering if anyone has some input on what would be a good ILD of Latex to order for my 3 year old? We just need a twin mattress for a bunk bed for her, so we don't need a foundation because the bunk bed has wood slats every couple inches. I think kids and probably for the bunk bed too need more of a firmer mattress, but I don't want her to feel like she is sleeping on a rock! I was thinking probably a med or a firm. I am looking at ordering from foam by mail as they seem to be the least expensive. Since these probably won't be her final mattresses I don't want to break the bank here. FBM's ILDs are 26-32 for Medium and 33-38 for a firm. Anyone have any suggestions on what may be a good ILD for someone that small. She is only 30 lbs now, but we hope to have these last until she is early teens. Thanks for everyone's input. I know no one can tell me for sure what to get, and I know I will make my own decision on this, but always nice to get other peoples views. Thanks! |
