A couple of questions on split kings
Thanks in advance for any help. (1) If you have a split king with the adjustable frame (ie, hospital-type bed) doesn't raising the one side interfere with the other person's bedding, like the sheet being pulled up and cold air coming in? (2) What is the difference, besides two inches in width, of having a split king vs two twin mattresses? Are the halves of the split king built differently, say, to be stiffer at the edges? We are getting older and the idea of wrestling with a heavy king mattress to flip it does not appeal to us, so something smaller (split or two twins) has appeal. I"d entertain having two fulls, but I don't think we have the room. Thanks. john |
