Hello,

Iam taking the next steps for layering and need help.  The current setup is 2 inches over 3 inches (5 total for now) of 28-30 Dunlop from Sleepwarehouse.  They call it medium to firm, however I think it is closer to medium in feel.  I was planning to use these as a base layer.  It is sitting on a wooden platform.  Iam 145lbs and mostly a side sleeper.

Have been sleeping on it for the past week to get the feel. Noticing that my hips are sinking through the 2 inches and into the 3 inches but not hitting the bottom (not sure if that is common).  I wake up most days with sore lower and mid back.

Is it possible that this is too soft and should be getting a few inches of a firmer layer to put under the 2 inches?  or Should add a couple of inches of Talalay 24 or so ILD on top to relieve some pressure points that I may not be getting with the Dunlop?

Should I try switching the 3 inches over 2inches?

Thanks for reading.

Definitely. Maybe too soft to use at all.
