Iam going through the next steps on my DIY Mattress and looking for some advice or experiences.   Currently have 3 inches of 26-28 ILD Dunlop for mid layer and getting a 1 or 2 inches of softer Talalay for top comfort level.   Now comes the base core which originally going with latex but with money restraints I may have to settle with Poly foam core.  

Iam 150lbs and a side sleeper.  I prefer the mattress on the firmer side.

 Any advice on what type of poly core or good place to buy (not interested in ordering from FBM)?  I understand there are HD and Lux version but not sure how high of ILD should go.  Another question is should I go with 4 inches or 5 inches?  

If I come up with more money and choose latex any advice on a 36 or 40 ILD Talalay will do and how deep?
