Has anyone slept on a Dr. Breus Signature Elite bed for at least six months?

In my quest for a new bed I've been into my local mattress stores a number times over the past six weeks and tried out a plethora of mattresses.  I really wanted to like Tempurpedic beds because I've heard so much about them.  One salesman steered me away from them because they tend to sleep "hot" and I keep my bedroom cool which affects the tempur characteristics of these beds making them less body conforming.  Actually, the Sealy Embody beds felt better to me than the Tempurpedic beds.

After trying so many mattresses I've found the Dr. Breus Signature Elite to be the most comfortable.  I've read what little user information I can find online.  There aren't many reviews out there since this line of beds is quite new.  All the positive reviews are from people who've slept on this model of bed for a relatively short period of time.  Since these beds are pricey - and I'd like to make a lasting purchase - I'd appreciate any feedback from owners of these beds who've slept on them for several months.

I have not slept on on of those. I did testdrive one in a mattress store and to me it was not confortable. From reading this forum awhile, it appears that people's experience with Dr. Breus are all over the map. There seems to be considerable variation, which may be due to different construction of different models. Although some of the posts say they are all latex, and perhaps those owners are the happy ones, others with a polyurethane foam seem  to be causing the usual problems with foam breakdown and sagging. See, e.g., the link below. Before you buy anything check the tag and see what it made out of, would be my advice. They are relatively pricey and you want to be sure what you're getting. I can't tell for sure from the links I've seen if the same model is actually constructed out of different materials in different areas of the country, but it seems that might be the case.

Thanks!  I'm definitely leery about purchasing this bed.  I would do so if it maintains its current properties over a long period of time.  Since the reviews I've read by pleased customers are written pretty soon after buying Dr. Breus beds they don't help all that much.

We went into Sleepys over the Memorial Day weekend to find a new bed. We looked first at the Tempur-Pedic beds, until the salesman asked us if we have heard about the Dr Breus bed. We went through the entire presentation which was impressive but not nearly as impressive as the bed itself. After 5 minutes my wife and me look at each other and totally agreed this was the mattress we wanted.

We took delivery of our Dr Breus Signature mattress 3 days ago and we love it. Hands down the best money we have ever spent on a mattress and the people at Sleepys are to be commended for their help, and prompt delivery.
