Eco Rest
Any owners willing to share thoughts on this mattress? In my area, 100% latex is limited to Natura products, with one also offering Green Line (?). Wanting fairly firm with slight comfort on the surface, but firmness the most critical for a problematic spine/neck. "Humming and hawing" between the Natura Eco Rest and Eco Haven, with a consideration of the Rest and adding a latex/wool topper if need be. New to this option for mattresses as of the past couple of weeks. This forum seemed like a good place to start.

Re: Eco Rest
Have you tried them out? The Eco rest sounds like it would be pretty firm, with just 6" of dunlop latex. Personally I would prefer the Eco with 2" of added talalay on top. But, I have not tried, so just an educated guess. You can't have anything shipped to you? If so, I would consider Flobeds, sleepez, foamsweetfoam which can be customized to your taste, exchange of layers if necessary to adjust firmness, returned if not happy. They have 100% natural latex option and possibly all organic if that is what you want. |
Re: Eco Rest
Going in a few days to the 'big city' to try out. Unfortunately, in all the shops, only a couple specific all natural latex models available to check out. After that, ordering in through the supplier would be no different than ordering direct from a manufacturer i.e. pay the price and then hope/haggle with returns. I want to avoid cross border shipments (I live in Canada), but have eyed a few national suppliers that could send. But I'd 'really' like to check out first hand. Failing that, interested in anyone has tried the Natura Eco Rest because I have found little comment to date. |
Re: Eco Rest
The Eco Rest is going to be pretty firm. But one thing I think to keep in mind with Natura is that they use more wool than most latex mattress producers and on the top of their mattresses they use a very nice wide and open stitch pattern, its quite luxurious. This makes them a little bit softer than one might imagine with only a 6" firm latex core. Both beds are good quality though. |
