Hello everyone, I'm 50 years old, 5'8", 200lbs. Fell off a lot of dirt bikes in my teens and it has certainly caught up with me! 2 herniated disks (1 lumbar, 1 thoracic), and two dessicated disks (I've actually shrunk an inch : - ) A few years ago they opened a Bobs near me so i decided to try the mattresses. A nice firm mattress with a comfy pillow top felt like heaven so I bought it. The mattress has completely fallen apart ( I know, I've since read all the pissedoffconsumer reports on Bobs mattresses). One of the most frustrating things is there's no padding on the non-pillowtop side of the mattress so i can't flip it, all i can do is rotate it. from what i've read if i'm successfull with a Bob warranty I may get a credit towards a new one (I would rather get a refund and buy elsewhere but what am I gonna do). two questions- the only thing i can think of is flipping the mattress and putting a foam pad under the fitted sheet on the non-pillowtop side for now. having never had a 'one sided mattress' is this ok? based on my above physical info is there a recommendation for what i should look for in a new one (eg... spring weight and other technical details)? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks in advance |
