I will have some pictures soon, I just got 3 FBM toppers in the mail.

3" 32 ILD FBM latex
1" 32 ILD FBM latex
1" 20 ILD FBM latex
3" 13 ILD cloud9 memory foam
Oh, My, God.

I don't think FBM latex is cheap at all, I think its freaking expensive.

I THINK ALL OTHER LATEX IS WAY OVERPRICED.

FMB is simply closer to the actual price of making this foam, less of a mark up.

I do have some friends in China and they said its about $40 for 6" of that latex there.
Yes international shipping is expensive, but there is a huge bulk savings for shipping the raw materials to the USA and making it here. Yes, you need a factory and thats expensive (see bulk order from china savings above) but thats not "that" expensive where it makes your latex magically worth $200 US an Inch......

All the other name brand latex is made from rubber that comes from China/Asia.

All this latex is the same. FBM or Latex international OR China Latex.
I like the people in china, I import some stuff. They are very nice. Their products are quality and cheap. Yes you can get ripped off but thats why you shop around and communicate with them on MSN.

Latex international doesnt grow their own freaking rubber trees! It's all chinese rubber!

This latex is amazing for the price. I'm 100% positive the 32 ILD's are Factory New. They are NOT seconds. These toppers feel so nice. The 20ILD 1" feels great also but it has some more imperfections like 2 or 3 nickle sized "clumpy" spots, but they are so small I don't feel them. I have not had other brands latex before (I still know all the latex rubber comes from the same source, asia) so I don't know if these discolored spots are from the making of the topper and it is much more fragile being 20ILD I can feel how much lighter and softer it is. Or maybe if the spots are from a burn mark and it was cleaned....I highly doubt this and from feeling it, there are no soft body impressions (like someone slept on it for a while before).
The 32" ILDs are so perfect hardly any imperfections at all, some small marks on the 20ILD, but again the marks seem factory made, not from a return on this one. They both are white, maybe off white or slight creame. The color is great, the feel is great. 100% sure the 32's are new or they did one hell of a clean job and they were shipped all over and still in great condition. Even if the 20 ILD is a second (doubt it), I don't care. The rest of it looks so perfect and the 32's look like they were once connected.
I have a full 8" with 5" of latex and 3" of 5lb cloud9 memory foam.

I have had people who weigh 260lbs lay on this. Their spine is straight...they love it. One person who weighs 220 said he would want it just a little softer......
Can't even describe how happy I am with FBM latex.

The people here who posted "I can't tell the difference between their foam by mails latex 32 and 20 ILD"

Wha? you press on the foam and one is "really squishy" 20 and the other is not as squishy. There is a real difference. the 20 is soft and plush. It feels great. The 32 is still fairly soft, also feels....amazing to lay on. I was worried this would no be enough, I need HD/HR foam base, maybe I would need more base foam or firmer latex or less memory foam or.........I worried for nothing. Just don't buy cheap memory foam and you wont have a problem.

I consider cloud9 to be above all the foam at overstock, above all the stuff at walmart, but below anything made by Foamex. Foamex rules all foam it seems. Cloud9 is a cheap, quality alternative. Sure other no-name brands are as well  but some are not a quality alternative and are just cheap. Beware.

I only want to sleep on latex and memory foam. This is the best combination I have ever tried. I can't wait to try out different combos, :) like maybe an even plusher latex from another vendor, on top of Venus Foamex 2" on top of FBM 20ILD latex on top of FBM 32ILD latex.

Wish I would have bought the energia though, would really love to have 2" of the energia.

There is no way you would sink through 8" of pure memory foam.

Why do people say this. I can't even sink through 4" of memory foam. Let alone 8" of it. Even 8" of the walmart crap would support you.....Well in fact. I did press on my friends 2" of walmart crap foam he got 3lb density and I sink in, its much softer than my memory foam, it feels like 20 ILD latex. YOU STILL wouldnt sink through 8" of that  3lb foam. I know my memory foam is only 13ILD but its the material, when I have 3" of it, you must put a bit of pressure to indent it. Even when warm It's too soft.

Latex has even more support than memory foam it seems, once compressed the latex supports so well, it doesnt cave in or anything (my memory foam doesnt do this anyways, so I don't know what others are talking about).

I put the 1" of 20ILD memory foam on top of my 3" 5lb cloud9 memory foam and this was the best combination. So my set up at the moment is
3" 32ILD Latex
1" 32ILD Latex
3" 13ILD 5lb Memory foam
1" 20ILD Latex
Even better than sleeping on top of the memory foam, the latex is so plush and nice, 1" with the memory foam under it then more firmer latex under that Oh wow, I love this bed.

Total price is......350 for the latex and 180 for the memory foam = $530

Perhaps some people who weigh more than I do (150lbs) this bed would be too soft. Be careful with the type of mattress you normally sleep on when buying a foam/latex one. But if you like firm, Get mostly 30ILD's and above with 1" - 2" of 20 ILD's. If you want soft you cant go wrong with any combination of 32ILD latex for a base and Whatever you want on top. If you get quality stuff....there is no way your going to "sleep in a hole" or "sink in" too far.

Now I don't want to start a fight here or anything with the "firmers" thats what I call you firmies, so let me close with this........Latex feels so nice even 40ILD's are great. I could sleep on just 8" 40ILD latex or on 8" 20ILD latex.
