foam on box springs??
I was wondering if anyone has tried using foam on box springs? We are going to be getting rid of our 4 year old Sealy Fenway mattresses (2 twiins side by side) and I am thinking about keeping the box springs just to give the mattress some height. We used to just use the foam on the floor. We tried a slotted wood bottom we bought at Ikea 4 years ago when we had foam (Before we bought the Sealy) but didn't care for that. I'm thinking we could put the latex or high-density HD foam right on the box springs, or we could buy some plywood to put on top of the box springs. Any thoughts? In the end, the height is no big deal, but we're kind of used to it now. Makes it nice to sit on the bed to put your shoes on etc. |
