Foam Topper Help

Here is the background:
  • I currently have a good Isotonic Memory Foam Bed.
  • 6 months ago I lost the “padding” on my backside, thereby causing me problems with my SI joint (in physical therapy etc, due to muscle and fat loss).
  • I have never had problems with my back or my bed up till this point.
  • I have deduced I need to add a topper to my bed (been using extra padding under me at night on bed and seems to temporarily fix the problem).
  • From my research online here is what I think I need:
a.    Dunlop Latex Topper (cooler, longer lasting and better for larger people)
b.    A least 3 Inches high
c.    Looking for Queen Size
  • Problem is there are too many choices, varying degree in prices and frankly I just want to find something soon so I can have some relief from the pain.
So, these are my questions:
  1. Am I correct in choosing Latex or Memory Foam?
  2. Am I correct in choosing Dunlop?
  3. Am I correct in looking for 3 inches or higher?
  4. Can you suggest what ILD or firmness I should get?
  5. Can anyone suggest a reputable company or place I can purchase one for a “reasonable” price?
  6. Any other questions or comments are welcome.
Thanks for your help, ~snowb
