generic guest bed

So my girlfriend wants to buy a guest bed. She knows I've been looking at this forum and she wants me to recommend something. It's queen-size and I imagine she wants to stay under $500 or so. I'm wondering that to recommend.
I'm tempted to say 5" of the LUX-R with 2" of 20ILD latex topper. About $300. I'm confused a little, that FBM sells memory-foam mattresses with the conventional foam and memory-foam integrated into one item (http://www.mattressbymail.com/memorymattress.html), but they do not do the same for latex. But I gather from reading here that's it's a normal configuration to make a mattress from one of their conventional foams with a latex topper.
