Ok, I need to get serious about looking for a mattress for my daughter, but I kind of blew the budget on the $2200 latex mattress for us. . . I dithered and missed the latex bed sale at Costco, and now I'm staring at all the memory foam options they offer. These seem to be a little less expensive than the Tempurpedic, but do they hold up? Has anyone bought or had experience with Costco's memory foam mattresses, and did/do you like them? I feel like I'm starting at square one again, not really able to afford another latex mattress. thanks! |
I purchased a NovaForm Pure Comfort mattress from Costco a couple of months ago. There was a smell that lingered for at least the first month. This didn't bother me however it was probably the only thing my husband complained about. My complaint is that it sleeps hot. We use a down comforter and our room is on the colder side (55-60 degrees). I'm about 5'5 125 +/- lbs and I couldn't take the heat. My latex Costco mattress should be here next week. I'm hoping it's a little cooler. I find that although most of the feedback on the Costco site says this mattress is too firm, I find it’s not firm at all. If you take a close look my NovaForm you can still almost make out where the mattress was originally folded in the box. It is ever so slight that I don't think it really affects the way I sleep on it. My only real complaint is the heat. I toss and turn (after falling asleep almost right away) most of the night. Maybe with a lighter blanket it will be better? |
