Help with inexpensive eco mattress
Hello, I have spent a little bit of time lurking on this forum, and would like some feedback on a mattress configuration. Basically, my idea is to start with 6" of all natural talalay latex as a core, and add 1-2" of organic wool topper. Then, if this is too firm, add a softer 2-3" latex topper between the wool and 6" latex. So my questions. Does this sound like a good strategy? To start with just 6" of firmer latex and see how it goes. Then add an extra 2" of latex if needed? Also, what firmness would you suggest for the 6" latex core? The firmest I have found is at SleepEZ, I can get a 6" of 100% naturual talalay that is 30-32ILD. Is this firm enough for this configuration? Some info about my wife and I: me: 160lbs, 5'10", side sleeper My wife: 130lbs, 5'6", side sleeper |
