Help with Latex topper please

I finally decided (7 mattresses in11 months) on a Costco spring type Cadbury, for now anyway...
First two weeks wonderful, now back pain, of course. I want to try a 1 or 2 inch latex topper on it as I really like the way I feel for about the first 6 hours of sleep, and would like to add just a slight layer of firmness...
A. which site, other than flobeds ($400 for a topper, too much, sorry), would you recommend for latex topper, NOT foam B. will 1 inch be enough?
SLEEP EZ says 30 day return is an option, that is great news...anybody with any other ideas let me know...for instance, on sleep ez my choices are
