I'm sorry if this has been answered already...

If i liked a latex mattress at one store, say, Verlo, can i duplicate that mattress by ordering layers from FBM? Am i able to find out the ILD from Verlo, or is that something i can't really find out and duplicate?

Thanks so much!!--

You'll only know if you contact Verlo and see if they will provide information on the construction and ILDs of their mattresses. Check their website. Whether you can duplicate this at FBM is questionable. They have a limited range of ILDs available. Basically a 32 that they consider firm but I would call more of a medium, and a 20 that is soft. And that's it.

Here's what FBM lists for their ILDs. I have the 6" med and 2" soft and it seems to be in the ballpark of these numbers.

6" Latex Cores

6" Talalay Latex Foam
Medium (26-32 ILD)

6" Talalay Latex Foam
Firm (33-38 ILD)

FBM 1 to 3 inch Toppers

Talalay Latex Foam Topper
Soft (20 ILD)

Talalay Latex Foam Topper
Medium (32 ILD)
