How do I know if I got the Latex International 100% natural talalay latex I paid for?
I purchased a new mattress with 3 different layers of what should be 100% natural talalay latex. Before I ordered the mattress, I called the online retailer to ask who makes their 100% natural talalay latex. I was told by the owner that I would get latex made by Latex International (which is what I wanted). I thought all Latex International latex has a tag on it that says Latex International and the ILD of the Latex. Mine has no such thing. Just a tag that says the name of the online retailer on each layer and "soft", "medium", or "firm". If it helps, this is a full size mattress and one of the layers has a seam in it (which again I did not think LI latex has a seam in full size layers). Thanks for any help. I am concerned I did not get what I paid for but perhaps I am wrong. I did not want to disclose the name of the online retailer because I don't want them to get a bad rap if I am incorrect.

Latex International 100% natural talalay has a seam if bigger than a twin. Their mold is only 40"x80". So the seam is a good sign that you got the right product, but of course, not proof. |

I would look on latex international's website and see if your online retailer is listed there. Normally you would have a tag like this:
I have no idea why any retailer would remove such a tag. This message was modified Jun 18, 2011 by MequonJim
