Kait, could you please post the name of your mattress maker in Fresno?
If you are not comfortable posting it on a thread, could you please PM me the info?
Thanks,
Julie

I went to Fresno today, and as sick as I am of trying to make my icky mattress(marshall springs inside) good, I am getting a new mattress made for me!  Awhile back I went into A Better Bed in Fresno, Ca and loved the way the coil-on-coil bed felt...for some reason didn't go with it.  Today I went back in, laid on it, my back thanked me profusely, and it is ordered!!!  I had already spoken with the owner who ordered me an offset coil unit for my new bed...it was then up to me to decide what to build around it.  It will have luscious cotton batting in it and some really nice foam...and it is a FLIPPABLE MATTRESS.  The box springs have coils.  I am thrilled and literally cannot wait.
I want to thank all the like-minded people on this list who have validated my gut feelings and helped steer me toward the best combination of components.
You know what is really great?
It was UNDER $2K! Really!

My mattress has open offset coils inside. It's LuraFlex. So far, so good. Best wishes with your new mattress! Custom is the way to go!

Hey, BB;
I asked him to get open end offset coils...but he just got offset coils.  At this point, I am happy to just get offset coils!!!  He says that the kind he got for me last longer...but who knows.  I am hoping that there isn't much difference between the two as far as comfort goes.
