Latex and Pillow Tops
I am interested in getting the Simmons World Class Elderberry Pillow Top bed from Macys. I have two concerns: The mattress under the pillow top also has coils and comes either in the visco foam or the latex. Although the latex sounds like a better way to go over visco foam, I am not sure if I will like it for I was not able to try it out. I liked the feel of the floor sample which is the visco foam, and I understand the latex is a more firm mattress - being that it is underneath the pillow top (which is made with a synthetic polyester jersey knit) would I feel a difference between the two, and might it be too firm? And I also wonder if the heating aspect of the latex would be an issue or not, being that it is underneath the pillow top? I am also concerned of the pillow top, for I have not read many positive reviews concerning pillow tops. I would hope that they have improved the quality of drooping and sagging in the newer beds, but I haven't been able to find recent reviews. Does anyone have any comments, input or knowledge of these concerns or this particular bed? Thanks so much, I really appreciate it. |
