Hello all, I am thinking it is time to buy a new mattress and like most people, really have no clue where to start. The bed i have now i have had for ten years, I am in it so much, watching tv, on comp, sleeping, that i have actually worn out the top. It is really soft, which i liked at first but now i feel no support. I dont sleep well, i have neck pain, ect. I know i sound like I am 90 years old but I am 28. Any suggestions would be appreciated. My friend got a Tempur-pedic and swears by it. I think i want something a little more firm. I sleep on my side or stomach. Thank you in advance.

And before everyone jumps down my throat I have done research. I found that flobed has great reviews and tempur-pedic not so much. I dont know if i need the complexity of flobed, as I dont really have the money for that, I am in grad school. Which other mattress's are decent?

Yet you are still seeking a consensus mattress recommendation . . which your research should have indicated is unrealistic! ANY mattress-pillow configuration will be praised by some and cursed by others.

Take your mattress that you have now, use the springs of it and put new foam on top of it.
