So I've been searching through posts and been doing research on this for a while now. I'm on a budget and just can't afford the prices of latex. We only need the bed for a short period of time but, I want to make sure it's firm enough since I'm pregnant. I hate walmart but, they seem to have some of the best prices, and I'm REALLY learly of buying a product online I've never tested even with the high reviews of most of there products. I've read to stay away from any S-brand mattress, but I don't want to buy a super cheap memory foam that's going to break down with in a few months. So I've ended up looking at a inner spring/coil mattress that has a 2"-3" memory foam or latex built in top. I'm planning on placing it on a platform bed, really tring to avoid the price of a foundation or box spring. That being said I can't really find much on this, I guess hybrid style of bed. It may be that I'm not searching in the right places. Has anyone really heard anything positive or negative about these. I've found a few and they range from 300-500 for a queen. I was looking at the Ikea mattresses but, I remember last time i was in a store thinking the beds i had layed on weren't that comfortable. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!! |
