Need Some Advice About 2011 Sealy Posturepedics
In August of '10 I bought a Queen Sealy Cedarland (ART# 54621151) for $534.95 with boxspring. I do not believe this in within the Posturepedic line. Within 2 months I had major body indentations. This January I contacted the retailer that sold me the mattress, and he wanted pictures of the indentation. After viewing the 2 inch indentations in the pictures he agreed to order me a new mattress. I declined the same model of mattress, and he agreed to let me upgrade. The corporate office of Sealy will not help me with item numbers or model names. I have learned the model names are changed between stores to eliminate comparison shopping, so that isn't really a factor anyway. The retailer only has the model he sold me, and he cannot help me with finding different models. I'm not sure what prevents him from doing so. He told me to find a mattress I like either in another store or online and get the 8 digit number that starts with a '5' or the model name, and he can order me that mattress.
I was told by someone else in another mattress store that the new 2011 Posturepedics have been redesigned in the middle with more titanium to resist body indentations. I would be willing to pay more to upgrade. Can anyone tell me a model name or the 8 digit number for the new 2011 Posturepedics. I am looking for something that is ultra firm and that has no pillow topper. I want minimal foam padding on top. I think this contributes to the indentations. Can anyone help?
