Hi, I have been looking for a new mattress and when I was researching Latex mattresses I found this site. I had already decided to try a latex mattress before coming here and from what I have read I am more convinced that is what I want. My husband noticed a new latex mattress listed on the Costco site and I was wondering if anyone has tried it. I know it is new, but I thought maybe someone might have some comments that might help. Here are the highlights of the bed components - we would be getting a King size with the foundation and at $1499.99 it seems like a steal. I know we would be sacrificing the ability to customize the firmness on each side but is it worth $1000.00 for that??? Here are the list of latex layers - Four layers of 100% natural latex for unsurpassed comfort: Layer 1 – 1” 19 ILD natural latex – soft layer Layer 2 – 2” of 24 ILD natural latex – medium layer Layer 3 – 4” of 32 ILD natural latex – support layer Layer 4 – 3” of 24 ILD natural latex – medium layer Two mattresses in one! Due to its unique construction, the Sleep Science Natural Comfort Latex Mattress allows you to sleep on either the top or bottom of the mattress. Each side has been engineered for a slightly different feel, one softer than the other. The Sleep Science Natural Latex Mattress is two high quality mattresses in one. The mattress is delivered with layer 1 (softer sleep surface) on the top. For a firmer sleep surface, remove the mattress from the cover, flip the mattress, put the cover back on and enjoy a firmer sleep surface. 100% Natural Latex. Certified by the ECO-INSTITUT as 100% Dunlop processed natural latex. Sleep Science Natural Comfort 10” Latex mattress fits the dimensions of your bed Meets the requirements of 16 CFR Part 1633-Federal flammability (open flame) standards Limited Warranty: 20 years against manufacturer defects Hypoallergenic, antimicrobial and dust mite resistant This luxurious, health promoting mattress comes with a beautiful silk blend and micro-suede mattress cover Sleep Science Softness Scale – Soft/Medium on one side and Medium on the other Here is the link if you would like to look at all the info - http://www.costco.com/Browse/Productgroup.aspx?Prodid=11496053&whse=BC&Ne=4000000&eCat=BC|93|4914|4916&N=4001838&Mo=39&pos=0&No=31&ViewAll=40&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&cat=4916&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&Sp=C&ec=BC-EC850-Cat4914&topnav= Thanks again for your help! I am so glad I found this forum! Brenda |
Nice find! 100% "certified" (?) all natural latex with no synthetics, from a big box store that (along with Sam's Club) has the G.O.A.T. return policy ever. if only those layers were interchangeable, so you could get the fimest layer out of the middle & directly under your back. otherwise it's flippable b.t the 24 & 19 ild outermost layers. At least it's dunlop, so those ratings should be pretty conservative vs. talalay for firmness. and all that for $1,000 for a queen that's 10" thick. but remember to factor in tax from costco vs. online dealers who are out of state, as well as note that it takes FOUR TO SIX WEEKS for delivery, when online dealers are much quicker. i just like that if it's too soft, stinks too bad, or is just a P.O.S., you can simply drive it to a lcoal costco & get ALL your money back immediately, no hassle, no fighting demands that you first need to try swapping out a few layers before you get refunded. Pretty much as no risk as you can get. if you would have hit me with this last week... well now i've all but ruled out (edit) -ALL LATEX- latex mattresses (leaning toward the most radical of d.i.y. projects, mattress sugery so i still have a spring core with latex as comfort layers)! thanks for sharing! The one thing that strikes me about this mattress is it's going to have a pretty soft feel, even as a Dunlop mattress, which some say tends to be firmer than Talalay. The ILD on my mattress has 9" of 36 ILD latex (although it is slightly different - Talalay processed) and I consider that to be a minimum firmness (for me at least). This one only has 3-4 inches of a medium firmness latex (32 ILD), all of the rest of the layers seem extremely soft to me. So . . . to get personal, if you are on the heavier side, or a stomach sleeper, you may find this mattress to be too soft. Do you and your husband prefer softer or firmer mattresses? There is someone on this forum who prefers and bought a Dunlop latex mattress, maybe she'll see this post and comment. Jason has a point about the ease of returning it, though it could be a hassle to haul a king sized mattress to a local Costco, but maybe it's worth checking out. Hehe you can be a guinea pig for the rest of the group and report back how you like the mattress |
Good find. I look at Costco all the time and I never saw that. Even when I go to the costco website and search on latex mattress I don't find it. Sounds like a good price with a good return policy. However, I agree that it might not a firm enough base unless the Dunlop is significantly firmer than Talatech. Plus no ability to customize it to personal needs. Also, it is not clear who is manufacturing it, so quality and consistency might be an issue. So, a bit of a gamble but not much to lose. I wonder if all of the layers are glued together? The cover does come off. When I purchased a mattress from Costco they delivered and installed it, and came to pick it up when I returned it. Didn't cost me a penny. It also came much quicker than the 4-6 week time frame. I think I had it in less than 2 weeks. However, I would call their customer service in advance to see how to return this one. I think it depends on the mattress whether or not you have to return it to the store. This one is probably heavy enough that they would come pick it up. Dunlap is significantly heavier, and feels much firmer (IMO) due to it's density than 100% natural talalay with the same ILD. I can't speak for blended talalay. |
Thanks for your input. I am fairly small 5' medium build and my husband is 6" medium build and we both want a softer feeling bed with good support. We are thinking about getting two of the mattresses for our sons so we may just use them as our guinea pigs! I suppose we could always buy latex layers in the future too if we really don't like the feel of the latex. The mattress cover must zip off because it says you can flip the inner mattress to a softer or firmer side. |
I have been researching mattresses for quite some time and have concluded that the latex mattress is probably the best out there for comfort and quality based on reviews. The Dunlop process seems to be a little more tried and tested but both are probably good. My wife and I bought a Nova Foam mattress from Costco last year and hated it...It was not comfortable and the worst thing was that it slept very hot. Supposedly the latex does not? At any event, I have ordered the new Sleep Science latex mattress from Costco and am waiting for delivery. I did not order the foundation but called the company to see what I would need to do in order to use my existing box springs. They said to put 3/4 plywood over the box springs and we should be fine. Apparently their box springs are metal and they provide some sort of hard plastic to cover it. The company web site (http://www.sbsleepscience.com/index.php) is extremely weak but I would recommend if you have any questions that you call the customer service department. The girl that answered the phone was friendly and somewhat knowledgeable. This is a new product for them and they do not have a lot of information on it other than what is posted. As soon as I get the bed I will post and update but in the meantime I am still looking for alternatives in case this one doesn't meet our expectations. There is actually a Stearns and Foster latex bed that also looks interesting. Any thoughts on this bed would be appreciated as Costco is great about returns and I really want a good and comfortable bed. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspxProdid=11479281&whse=BC&Ne=4000000&eCat=BC|93|1924|67410&N=4018918&Mo=24&pos=1&No=3&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&cat=67410&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&Sp=C&ec=BC-EC11879-Cat1924&topnav= |
I have found that an all latex bed can be pretty warm, but I seem to be in an minority opinion on that. If you are easily bothered by heat it might be an issue. Definitely seems warmer than the old firm innerspring mattresses to me. It also depends on what cover they put on it and the mattress pad you use. However, I think an type of foam of a certain density is going to retain heat. That is my experience at least. |
This business of flipping and all 100% natural latex mattress, I believe you said it was king-size, concerns me. My three layer +2 inch top layer 100% natural botanically grown latex California king mattress weighs in excess of 150 pounds. And it's not going to handle like 150 pound barbell. I have likened movie latex to handling a stupefied drunk person. It is a very sloppy and hard to handle. I just moved 4 half pieces of latex,(apx 25lb ea.) and although I have a bad back, and use a back brace, my back was protesting loudly! So you better have two people who are "very stout" if you're going to try to flip that kind of a mattress. This message was modified Dec 4, 2009 by eagle2

This is hands down the very best deal I have seen on a latex mattress from any retailer since I have been on this board. Here is the link to it. If this would have been available when I bought my latex mattress from FBM, I would have jumped it. And contrary to all the negative press that FBM receives on this board, I love my current mattress, it is an excellent product! This one from Costco really has everything going for it.... except that its not talalay. An excellent price ($1200/king - $1000/Queen), the unbeatable Costco return policy, two different firmnesses to sleep on, a nice looking cover, free delivery.....Wow! Yes, Eagle, it would be heavy to flip over but all of these latex mattresses are very heavy. I worry about eventually moving and know that I've got my work cut out for me. What's good about this mattress is that it actually has two different firmness layers to try, that for sure outweighs :) any hassle in flipping it over. It also wouldn't be something you'd be doing every week. The Dunlop process is very much tried and true. There are reports that some of the Sears Dunlop mattress made many years ago with the Dunlop process lasted 40+ years, and that even some are still being used. It is a slightly different and firmer feel to it. You could probably add a few points to the ILD numbers to be similar to the feel of a Talalay mattress, but it does have a slightly different feel, nonetheless. I have a local mattress maker nearby in Portland Oregon who makes a 6" Dunlop 30ILD, topped with a 2" Talalay 20ILD with a very, very nice cover on it that sells for quite a bit more than this. He's been making these latex mattresses for many years and told me that 80% of the population does just fine with those ILD specs. He said there are people that need a very soft and/or firm mattress but they are in the minority. Most people just have a poor mattress right now and they're not sleeping well on it and thats why they think they need something far outside the norm. This Costco offer does say that it is a limited time offer and that its good until Jan 3, 2010. If there's anyone on the fence out there that wanted to try out Latex, this is about as good as it gets. The great thing about Costco is that they are one of the very few companys left that are truly interested in the customer's satisfaction. |
I absolutely agree with Bill. Like Bill, I too bought my latex bed from FBM, and I have been completely satisfied. If this was around when I was shopping for a latex mattress, there would have been no hesitation on my part about which mattress to get. This is an absolute steal. To sweeten the deal, Costco's return policy and customer service is unbeatable. |
As stated above I am waiting for deliver on my Sleep Science Latex king mattress from Costco, but I wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts on this Stearns and Foster Latex bed. It also seems like a killer deal from Costco...Thanks! The

I am new here. I've learned a lot from reading the forums, thank you all for the wealth of helpful information! I just placed an order for this bed from Costco, for all the reasons that have already been stated. BUT, knowing that my husband and I both strongly prefer a firmer feel, I'm looking for a topper that will give this bed the firmer feel we're looking for. Can any of you recommend a topper that would fit the bill? I'm willing to pay for quality as long as I'm getting better overall value, but I don't feel like I know enough (yet) to know quality when I see it. Any help will be very appreciated, and thanks in advance! I'm EAGERLY awaiting information and feedback about this bed from those of you who ordered it before I. Please keep us updated with how long it took to arrive, how you like it, problems or raves! Thanks!! |
Elisa, I would look at the latex toppers from sleeplikeabear. While I have not bought a topper from them, I have bought their latex pillows. There customer service is outstanding. They sell LI stuff, so it is the good stuff. Their website is www.sleeplikeabear.com This message was modified Dec 6, 2009 by tuan209

I just called Costco and asked about returning a bed, as I just recently returned the EMMA sleep science mattress and i hired someone to help me take it to the store Not necessary, they told me that NO MATTER what the item, it could be a ballpoint pen, they will take care of getting it back. In the case of a bed like this they send the shipping company that delivered it, they package it up and take it away, I suppose it makes sense to keep whatever packaging material it came in to assist in this process... I will likely end up getting one as my 2nd tempurpedic in as many weeks, the bellafina, isnt working out... This message was modified Dec 6, 2009 by randys

Thanks, much, Tuan209. :) I will definitely look into it. I have a broader question to ask about this bed + topper. Concerns with the Costco bed seem to be that it might not feel firm enough - if that's the case, is it possible to increase the firmness with a topper? I've read about several instances of making a too-firm mattress feel softer and more comfortable with a topper; but I'm not sure if it can work the other way. If "not firm enough" means "not enough support" (does it?) than can you really increase that with a topper? Thoughts? |
anyway at least the thickest layer in ther- the 4" core is 32 i.l.d.- & it's all dunlop we;re working with. but ultimately it does seem backwards from what everyone else is doing- firmer layers UNDER softer ones is the conventional setup. i am also anxious to hear what you guys think about how it SMELLS. good luck. Has anyone visited Costco? Is it in the store to look at? I have to wonder if the layers are glued, and if so I wouldn't care for that would you? Really curious what it looks like and feels. Even at $1000, you still need the foundation and the bed frame or legs. So still costs $$$. But yes the latex layers are costly in themselves. Who actually is the manufacturer of the Dunlop, anyone know? Not too many companies left that make Dunlop. I also wonder about the Sears dunlop mattress made many many years ago, what ILD it was, and if it has different layers. Anyone here had one? |
I am in the market for a latex mattress. I thik we should find out where the latex is from, and is the mattress made in this counry or imported from other country. I still believe made in USA if we can find them. I also try to find out theone from Sears Please work together to find the best mattress. Tina |
The mattress is made by a company called "Sleep Science" according to the Costco website. But I did a search for Sleep Sciecne mattresses and a company that seems unaffilliated with the Sleep Science matress sold at Costco. My main concern about the mattress is if it is treated with chemical flame retardants. |
I am buying this Costco Mattress today as well in Cal King for only $1500. Very close to buying a Savvy Rest but this price and Costco's return policy are just too good to pass up. Hoping someone will receive and review this bed soon. I will when mine comes. Unfortunately that is quoted as 4 to 6 weeks. |
this foundation for $200 more- metal with plastic top & four legs... but what IS that exactly? what is that ridged box between the legs & actual mattress? similar to a box spring, with some type of internal structure, or something less substantial? i'm not seeing any up close photos of that foundation or its insides, or the latex itself for that matter./ i just hope its quality isnt' too cheap. either way, i wouldn't even hesitate if those layers were only loose instead of glued together. i just don't like being forced to keep softer layers UNDER the thickest, firmest core layer- which is what you end up with regardless the side you choose. guess they had to make it simple as possible to flip, if not physically easier. or as customizable. because in the "firm/medium" orientation, i'd almost rather lose latex & replace the softest 3" layers on bottom with firm conventional foam, so that it's a continuous progression from softer to firmer, top to bottom. but even that way, it's still tough to put 7" of raw latex together for this price, on the simplest of wood slat frames (with no encasement or "box foundation)/ |
well at least one poster here recommends against the foundation after having bought it in a set. his was sleep science's m.f. mattress, but they are the same foundation according to costco's product description- "The Sleep Science coordinating metal foundations are specifically engineered for the Sleep Science memory foam mattresses, including the Latex mattress." "Avoid the matching foundation. It comes fully assembled and is made of steel with plastic panels for support. While it works, I'm concerned about the cheap plastic support panels. For the price (about $200 extra for the matching set) I feel you can do better buying a foundation locally." -dkcs (http://www.whatsthebest-mattress.com/forum/sleep-science-ara-foam-mattress-costco/4406-0-1.html). & exact same price increase in queen for this one. he hasn't checked back in there since summer, so hopefully it's still o.k. for him. but i'd rather have a basic wood slat frame instead for less money. the value here is obviously in buying the mattress only.

Ihad an old Sers dunlop mattress but it was decades ago when I was a kid, so I can't be of any help as to what they sell nowadays. Extremely comfortable, all one piece (or perhaps glued pieces, I don't know as it was inside a typical mattress cover) |
This Costco 10" queen latex mattress sounds like a fantastic deal. In contrast, the quotes I received from Land & Sky for their queen mattresses ranged $1500 (6" latex core "Meadow") to $2000 (9" latex "Rainforest"). Lifekind quoted me $2400 for their standard "Euro" model. Their "Trio" was $3400. The Soaring Heart Natural Bed Company queen latex mattresses range $1300 to 1400, and their all cotton/wool futons pads run $400-500 or so. Now, I'm sure those companies craft a far more polished and organic product than the Sleep Science model Costco is selling. However, 10" of natural latex for $1000 shipped/installed free and with the legendary Costco return policy can't be beat. Anybody received theirs yet? How is it? What's the catch? Is the zippered case doused in nasty flame retardants? Is the "natural" latex actually 80% synthetic? Does the mattress smell bad and take forever to off-gas / outgas? It does seem too good to be true, and I'm also waiting for reports from those who bought it and how they like it. The burning question in my mind is . . . . what's the source of the latex, and is it that cheap stuff with fillers? |
I am very skeptical whether this is actually all 100% natural sourced rubber. for the cost it really doesn't seem possible. and there are a lot of companies out there that tend to mislabel things, I have seen a lot of pillows that were blended latex come in packaging that says 100% natural latex, or "Natural Latex" and then just list the benefits. |
i'm considering ordering this bed before the sale is over in a week. i can't decide whether i should just get the mattress and use my old box spring with or without a plyboard. the problem is that i can't order the matching foundation later if i change my mind. not too sure that it would be easy to find a suitable foundation separately, later. would appreciate any suggestions. |
I would think that any traditional foundation would be suitable. I didn't order the slat foundation from Flobed when I got my latex mattress, I went down to my local mattress store and bought a regular foundation for $200 and had them deliver it. It's working fine. BTW I was browsing the Savvy Rest site FAQ and under their "Dunlop or Talalay?" link they make the following statement: "Some companies add “fillers” such as clay to make the latex go further. (If you find a Queen natural latex mattress for $1000 or less, there are fillers.)" This really makes me wonder whether the latex in these Costco beds has fillers. The price is *so* much lower than what the established latex mattress companies are offering. Has anyone ordered and had one delivered yet? If so, what's your experience been? |
My wife and I have been sleeping on a king for almost 2 weeks now and love this mattress!!! |
Hi Mikey: Did you order the foundation and if so how is the quality? I originally ordered just the king size mattress and then my wife said that she wanted the matching foundation. She didn't want it to look like a mixed set. Any chance you can post some pictures? I looked on the Costco reviews and this is the only review so far which does not bode well.
"The delivery service was a bad experience. The guys called me at 7PM and showed up at 7:05 PM. The guy mentioned that it was his first experience delivering a king size mattress. He was reluctant to take the mattress out of the truck and he said that installation meant to leave the mattress at the curb outside the house. The guys dropped the mattress unfolded from the truck without using the truck built-in lift. They folded the mattress and did hit it against the handrail tearing the mattress off. Then they took the mattress back. One of the guys, said that he would come back tomorrow with another one, although, we have been waiting for over three weeks for the mattress to be delivered from another state. We expected a much better service from Costco. We do not intend to get another one from Costco. We'll probably buy another one locally from a Furniture store, where they have professional people handling delivery and installation better." |
great to hear, i ordered mine 12-17 and it hasnt even shipped yet...wonder if they ran out and forgot to tell me may I ask a question, hopefully you come back to answer...when it was delivered it was set up on the softer of the two sides, i know this because I called sleep science and asked them, did you swap it to the firmer side? then, how is it from a firmness standpoint? do you have lower back problems and does this help? thanks randy |
Barry, Where did you find that delivery review? When I went to Costco's site and looked for reviews on the sleep science LATEX mattress, I couldn't find any. |
Philip: On the Costco web site, click on the king size with foundation and under details the review will come up. I had originally ordered just the mattress and then as I said in a previous post, I cancelled and ordered the foundation as well. They actually tried to deliver the cancelled mattress on the 22nd but we refused delivery. I think the bed and foundation are expected to arrive on January 5th and 'll keep everyone posted. On another note, I ordered the Nature's Rest Latex Pillows and they are unbelievable. We have been using them for about 3 weeks and love them. If the mattress is anything like the pillows we are going to be very happy. :) |
Ordered this bed 12/14. They called today to arrange delivery on 12/31 so all in it will have taken less than two and a half weeks even with the holiday. The delivery service agreed to take away my old Cal King mattress for $75 and indicated they would deliver the new one to the master bedroom upstairs. I live in the San Francisco Bay area.... I will provide feedback on the bed after it's here and I've slept on it a bit... |
I did not order the foundation. I had a king box spring already so there was no need to order the foundation. As far as looking mismatched, I'm not sure even theirs match, but I could be wrong. The side portion of the mattress cover looks like a tan suede material with no quilting or pattern at all. I would be curious to see a closer picture, since the one on the costco site really doesn't look like it matches all that well. As far as the delivery service goes, that is contracted with various delivery companies. Mine came from a local moving and storage company, and was delivered with no problems. Why they would fold it is beyond me. I would not allow them to do that for fear they could damage the mattress. My delivery company carried it into my home in the box, and once they were in my bedroom they removed the packaging. These other guys sound like a bunch of morons. It's unfortunate for costco that they have to take the hit for someone else's imcompetence. I left it on the softer side and love it this way. It still feels fairly firm. I have always had problems with mattresses making my hips and shoulders hurt and fall asleep, hence, waking up several times in a night to roll to a different position. I can lay in one position for hours and have no discomfort, in fact the only time I usually wake up is if the Pee Gods come calling in the middle of the night. I do suffer from occasional lower back pain and have not had any since sleeping on this. The only negative was having to wait a couple of days before we could sleep on it to get rid of the smell. It had quite a strong odor of what reminded me of contact cement, but it almost completely went away after the 2nd day, and honestly that is my only complaint. I tried to post some pictures but could not figure out how to do it. |
|
mikey, any chance you'd peel back your cover & snap a photo of the bare latex foam itself for us? if you can't get it to show here, just link it? there are obviously lower & higher grades of latex out there. i just know i won't use the logic of $2,000 = high grade (true), then $1,000 MUST be low(er) grade. because i'm not assuming they are not already way overpriced across the board, all these raw blocks of foam. not necessarily at the dealer level, they may be bound by the manufacturers prices, since there are so few companies making this stuff. but they charge what people are willing to pay. so it doesn't look crumbly does it? or gray, like this one (synthetic): http://tinypic.com/r/kdwl60/6 becky, did they mention who actually manufactures sleep science's latex in these mattresses? |
certified AS natural latex, by eco institute. there is no alternate meaning there. so if that's not what they do, & it's only a test for emmissions, i think the eco institut would have a problem with them saying otherwise. it would be a straight out lie if that were the case. i doubt/hope you wouldn't find that for someting on costco's website. |
thanks for feedback, i dont have a ship date yet (ordered 13 days ago, this is taking forever) but I was going to flip it and use the firmer side from day one, maybe i shouldnt...i can always flip it later i am use to the smell from foam, hopefully latex isnt worse... |
Hey Jason, what mattress is that odd looking gray latex used in? Ive seen many different samples of synthetic latex and they are all white. |
I just called customer service and they informed me it is manufactured in Thailand by Latex Systems. Does anyone know if this is a reputable company? |
I don't think I have posted on this yet. Anyway, I think this sounds like a really great latex mattress for the price. I like the fact that it can be adjusted by turning it over, and I like the fact that it has CostCo's return guarantee (I assume). As to Natural latex, I have never slept on it, but I once layed on one and I liked the feel of it better than Talalay (and yes it was "jungle" latex, from some 3rd World country, perhaps the same as this one). I think you can't go wrong with this bed if you can return it for zero or minimal charge. Am interested to see how you like it. I wish they'd sell some toppers of this material at those cut rate prices! |
I’ve been a lurker here for a couple months since we started looking for a king mattress. We decided to go for this Costco Latex Mattress. I was planning on waiting to post after we’ve slept on it a few nights, but I know the Costco discount ends on Sunday night.
Order placed 12/7, order shipped 12/14, delivery to house this morning on 1/2.
We read the only Costco review and they had problems with the delivery. Based on their experience of the guys snagging and tearing the mattress, we asked if they could leave the mattress in the box until it was in our upstairs bedroom. Reluctantly, they obliged. This thing was heavy and unwieldy. My wife really thinks one of the gentlemen delivering this king sized beast might have soiled himself getting this thing up the stairs.
We have a 3” LI Talalay 100% natural topper for my 2 yr old daughter’s bed and I’d say this is a vastly different feel. We got it from FoamSweetFoam. The ILD for the “medium” topper was claimed to be 24-28. For starters this Dunlop mattress is much denser and although the Costco site says the softest part is a 19 ILD, the Talalay seems much softer and springier. I think the Costco mattress is much firmer than the Talalay topper.
We ultimately decided to buy the foundation, which I’m happy we did. It’s actually pretty beefy and will be a much more solid foundation than a box spring in my opinion. It’s constructed of 1” square steel. Yes, the plastic “cardboard” that covers the foundation does seem cheap, but I think it serves its purpose in evenly distributing the load across the steel foundation. Assuming we sleep well tonight, I intend to get the twin set for my 4 yr old son.
|
Guess I waited too long to make a decision...looks like only the twin sizes are left. I'll have to wait for the next sale, though I'd definitely be interested in any short or long-term reviews in the meantime. |

so???? how did you sleep? I am noticing that my arms are going to sleep on me on my tempupedic...what a shame cuz when you lie down on this baby it is extremely comfy This message was modified Jan 5, 2010 by randys

Ordered mine just before the sale ended. Hopefully receive ship notice soon. Can anyone provide the total HEIGHT of the foundation AND mattress? link doesn't seem to be available on costco site. And Randy, were you saying your arm is falling asleep with the new latex mattress or only with the tempur? I'm sure hoping this works, my next option is to try a Tempur Classic or the 14" Celeste from Costco BTW, any recommendation on a good mattress cover for this? I assume we want water resistant and thin. thanks! |
|
Magically, all sizes were in stock after the sale was over! |
ugh. does the 23" total height include legs on the foundation or something? I was assuming 10" mattress + ~8" foundation. 23" would be WAY too high on my wooden sleigh bed frame. hoping it is not that tall, but if it is... does anyone have a low profile foundation to recommend? or have experience trying to return just the foundation part of a mattress order to costco? thanks in advance! |
I am not seeing them on the website at all now. Just the memory foam mattresses. |
Don't worry, the 23" includes the legs. Sorry about that. The legs are removable. Just the foundation and mattress are 18". This message was modified Jan 7, 2010 by engra

perfect, thanks! (18" high will be just right). FYI to others, I placed the order on Jan 2, early sunday morning, and my order says "sent to fulfillment", but I have not heard anything else yet. |
:( Just got an email from costco... "Thank you for ordering the NATRL CMFRT QUEEN *PROMO* (Item #481909) from Costco.com. Due to the overwhelming response for this item, there has been a delay in fulfilling your order. We expect new inventory the first week of March 2010. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are willing to wait for this item, you do not need to do anything. it is happening with the bellafina tempurpedic...cant remember if it happened with the costco/sleep science foam mattress or not...back is killing me, everyday...new bed should be here next week |
I got the bed. Its made in China. It doesn't smell. It's very soft. I've slept on it 3 nights, and slept pretty good, but I'm returning it because it is not firm enough. Too bad. |
I was suppose to get my bed yesterday but wrong house, wrong mattress. I am so grateful for this forum, I would be lost w/o it and still thinking I'm as crazy as my kids try and tell me I am. I am worried about this bed and am curious about the last reply. Did you flip it or start on the med side to begin with? How much do you weigh? What kind of bed did you sleep on before? What's next for you? I spent an hour on a NexGel mattress yesterday but decided to wait for Costco's mattress. I have been paying attention to everything and I really felt I WAS bottoming out on the NexGel. I have been off the Sleep Number for two nights and feel much better. I'm back on my $250 Areo bed with a 3 inch memory topper. This has been working for me for years BUT I have to replace the bed and the foam every few years. So far they allow me to trade it at Bed Bath and Beyond when it goes "bad". I have a real problem with the sweat pooling between the air bed and foam which causes it to mold. I keep a towel between the bed and the foam but its super wet every moring and it I don't take the whole thing apart to dry I get screwed really quick. Of course I am the only one who can sleep on this bed, two just doesn't work. I weigh 290. I am thinking, the more I read on here, that I may just build my own bed frame and work with my pricy Areo bed. It has worked for me for years. Some how I am going to find a way to keep it dry! I have tried wool, feathers, you name it, I've tried it. I really get a kick out of all the mattress surgery I read about on here. I have been sharing with my kids, all these posts, and now I don't sound so crazy any more. I want to thank all the people who take the time to write! Thank you, thank you, thank you! This experience has been greatly aided by your posts. |
Engra: you mention that the bed is much firmer than the ILDs suggest. Are you referring to the soft side up or did you flip it so that the firm side is up? I visited the South Bay International office in Pomona 2 mos ago and tried the latex bed and the various memory foam beds as well. I thought the latex (demo was soft side up) was not firm enough but there was no flip side available for comparison; to me the soft side up is similar to the medium softness memory foam mattresses. My recollection of the various memory foam beds is imperfect but I believe the Celeste was firmer than the Ara but also a little springier due to the 2" layer of latex. Both were comfortable. The springiness was the biggest difference. The latex and memory foam chemicals are, according to the company rep, sourced outside of China but South Bay owns a 700,000 sq foot manufacturing plant in China (website www.southbayinternational.com) where raw products are sent for manufacture. I, too, noticed that all the latex bed sizes appeared on the Costco site the day after the sale ended. However, the next day the whole latex line disappeared. The company phone agent said that no additonal orders were being taken to avoid back ordering. She also mentioned that the memory foam Emma bed is going on sale next month (Feb); that may or may not be accurate. I decided to wait until several user reviews appeared on the Costco site, or here, about the all latex bed before ordering. So please post your experience if you've slept on it (and which side of it you like the best). |
We have the soft side up and still think it's rather firm. I should mention that I'm 5'9" 140lbs and my wife is 5'4" 105 lbs. So after reading some of the other user's experiences with this mattress, body type certainly plays a role in our opinion that this mattress is on the firmer side. It is certainly firmer than the 3" topper of Natural Talalay we purchased that was said to have a 24-28 ILD. The talalay also seems much springier than the Costco mattress. The Costco mattres has zero smell, while the LI natural topper has a distinctly sweet odor, not a chemically smell but certainly noticable. I honestly can't imagine trying to remove the cover on this king size beast flipping the mattress and then trying to put the cover back on as the costco site suggests. I would just flip it over and put the mattress pad and sheet back on it. |
I see that you like the firmness of the Costco bed. I was wondering if you were going to try the 3 inch Talalay topper on it to soften it up? I just ordered a 3 inch medium from FoamSweetFoam to add to my too firm latex mattress. I guess I can't ask your 2 year old how she likes it....hahaha. We received our king size bed last week and the foundation was not the right size. They shipped us a Cal King foundation and we needed the Eastern King. The delivery company was very good contrary to the review posted on the Costco web site. They apparently were able to get approval to allow us to keep the mattress and refuse the foundation which we did. Instead of calling Costco, I called the manufacturer and they said that they could handle it without the need to go through Costco. They are going to ship out a foundation and in the meantime we are using the mattress on our previous boxsprings. We are sleeping on the soft side or at least the side that the top of the cover is on. It has been about a week and I can attest that this bed so far is very supportive and comfortable. It is firmer then we expected but we actually like it very much because it is also soft. We have two Nature's Rest latex pillows that compliment the latex bed very well. On another note, I asked the person at the company how the Costco sale was and she said that it exceeded their expectations. The company had ordered what they thought would be enough beds to satisfy the orders and as you know that was not enough. She indicated that a couple thousand beds were sold. I asked her if they were going to use Costco again in the future and she said that yes they would but that Costco's policy is that the items must be in stock and cannot be back ordered. I'm not sure if the prices will go up but even if they do, I am planning on getting 2 more beds for my children. |
As a follow up: The company requires that the foundation be installed at the delivery companies warehouse and not in the customer's house. Should the delivery company have abided in the instructions of the manufacturer then the wrong size foundation would have never been delivered in the first place. :) |
ordered full size natural comfort latex costco mattress ($ 978.74 includes tax,) 12/27/09 shipped 12/30/09 delivered 1/12/10 by Quality Moving Service in sacramento, california -quickly and courteously set up we are in our 80's. i'm 5 ft tall weighing 102 and my husband is 5ft 10 weighing 165. using our old box spring with a 3/4 plyboard, the softside feels firm and comfortable so far. the whole bed sits about 23 inches above the floor in a regular bed frame. there is no odor at all, but the weight of the mattress can be a problem for us weaklings. i'm using a waterproof mattress cover from target which has an assortment of different materials. after a reasonable trial period, will report back. thank you for all your info on this forum. sure beats much of the sales talk when we tested products at the local stores. |
Barry, I wouldn't want my mattress unwrapped anywhere but in my own home. Are you SURE of that statement, mattress and foundation to be "installed" at carriers warehouse? I never heard of such a thing! I am still awaiting my own bed with baited breath.... |
The mattress comes in a bag and is then boxed. The movers wanted to unbox and then carry the thing in without a box. We told them we want them to carry the mattress in the box until it got to our master bedroom. I would highly advise not letting them unbox in the truck. The mattress is so heavy that when it folds in half, which it will, it could easily tear. After we got our king, we also ordered a twin on the last day of the sale. I plan to ask them to keep it in the box until it's in the room. |
I just received my king Latex mattress and mathing foundation a couple of hours ago. I was so eager to test it out that I crawled into the middle, pulled a blanket on top of me and conked out. It felt WONDERFUL, which was a surprise, since 1) I expected it to be far too soft for me, as I prefer a firm mattress feel, and 2) I didn't flip it to the "firmer" side, I just tested it as-is. I'm not sure, just yet, if this is a testament to the quality of this bed or to the horrendous quality of my previous bed, but so far, so good. I'll happily provide a better and more thorough review after I've actually put bedding on it and had some sleep in it. That said, I have a very pressing question for those of you that have received the FOUNDATION for this mattress. Can you please help me figure out if I have a problem with my foundation? I have a feeling that something must be missing. What I received was a black powder-coated steel foundation (in two parts, since this is a king, they'd be 2 TwinXL foundation pieces). So far so good. On top of this, I fully expected there to be something flat -- something to distribute the weight evenly across the metal foundation and prevent sag. There is nothing -- they brought in the king mattress and plopped it right down on top of the metal frame, directly. I didn't notice it until I went to get UP from the bed after my test nap, but the corners sink and disappear down into the holes in the frame with any pressure. That cannot possibly be a good thing, or intended, right? An attempt to lay on one SIDE of the bed, as we would need to when sharing the bed, was very uncomfortable and uneven, the mattress trying to slide down into the frame beneath me. Can anyone verify my concerns before I start trying to track down my missing piece(s)? I saw it mentioned before that there was some kind of "plastic panels"? Help? Thanks! |
You're definitely missing the "plastic panels" which are only thick enough to evenly distribute the load across the foundation. In my opinion, I would prefer to use 1/4" plywood with a bunch of 2" holes drilled in it to distribute the load as well as allow the latex to breathe, but the plastic panels do the job. If I recall correctly, the panels should be in the box with the foundation and are grey/white. There should be one for each individual foundation. They come folded up but once unfolded and laid out, they are held in place by black plastic pegs. If the movers assembled in the warehouse as directed by Costco/South Bay they probably left them there. Hopefully they assembled at your house like they did for us, so we could verify it was done correctly and all the pieces were included. Even if that's the case, I could see how these could be mistaken for trash. I hope this helps. I would probably avoid sleeping on the mattress without the panels or plywood beneath the mattress. Although damage to the mattress is probably unlikely, I would err on the side of caution. This message was modified Jan 12, 2010 by engra

I flipped an old oak entertainment center, sturdy thing, it is, with 5/8 inch plywood on top. DO I NEED TO DRILL HOLES IN THE WOOD? I suppose I should do this before the mattress gets here!? I am so very grateful for this site. |
night #1 on new latex costco/sleep science mattress, no pain, excellent excellent , yahoo might sleep a bit warm, will want to check around about how to address that |
It is interesting to hear you say that the latex bed might be warmer (than the Tempurpedic?). Makes me think I am not totally crazy. If it is softer, and you are sinking in more, that will make it sleep warmer. I have found that an extra thick mattress pad helps a bit (they sell some at overstock and possibly costco). It does change the feel somewhat, so that is the downside. There is no miracle cure. The firmer side might sleep slightly cooler. |
I am surprised that you think this latex mattress sleeps hot. I have had mine for several weeks now and it is definitely not hot. We don't "sink" down in the mattress like you do with foam. We had ordered a Memory Foam and it was terrible. Very hot and you do sink way down. We took it back after the second sleepless night. I did a lot of research and spoke with a lot of people regarding latex and the overwhelming consensus seems to be that one of the big advantages is that it does NOT sleep hot. I did not find many comments about it sleeping hot on the internet but on the contrary many people were happy that it was not like the foam. I would be interested to hear if after the second night Randy still feels that it sleeps hot? Also, on latex you really don't sink down at all. It has a very elastic feel similar to a normal innerspring. |
it does sleep hot, worse than the tempurpedic, the mattress pad we had on it made it worse dont know what to buy to put on it to counteract it |
I have an awesome dog waterbed that I used when I was going through men-o-pause. I know, that's really dumb but I did use it! Worked like a charm. I am awaiting my own Costco latex bed, within the hour. I am so excited to see if this will, at long last, enable me to get the sleep i need so badly. My neck hurts so bad from sleeping on memory foam, what is up with that? I have had a ton of different beds the best being the old fashioned water bed. Now, THAT bed never gets hot!! |
dont put a mattress pad on it, ours made it hotter...also, remember that if you need to return this to costco for any reason, call them costco.com and they will have it picked up and shipped back, free of charge curious to hear your report on your new mattress |
Only at my house would a delivery like the one I just recieved fly. I really should write a book about my buys online, they are comical at best. The mattress actually got dropped on the street. I cringed but did not over react, I am so proud. When it did get unwrapped in was well protected from the fall (only a foot or so) from thick cardboard and then two layers of plastic. The guy's helper was sick and this poor man was trying to do this himself, no way Jose. I actually asked a man walking down the street to help him and then paid the guy $20 to do it. Best 20 I ever dropped on someone. I had found that 20 the day before, lying in the street. Did I read this bed weighed 88lbs? Ha! More like 888!! I feel like I've been ten rounds and at this point am laughing so hard I could split. Randy, I really need a mattress pad, I have 3 pugs who like to get "under covers" that's me as they all three crawl under...... I just had a romp on it with the dogs and while they like it fine I think it's too firm and am already looking for a topper on Overstock. It seems like I can feel lumps...... I weigh a lot. |
you can always count on any mattress that's too firm for some, that very same mattress being too soft for somebody else. & apparently the same with heat, vs. even a tempurpedic?! i was actually surprised at how cool dunlop latex (not this one) sleeps. even compared to spring mattresses, mine gets almost cold. but i don't really sink into it either. a nyway i wouldn't put a thick mattress pad on it, or there's not much point in a latex mattress in the first place with a thick pad eliminating or at least dampening its unique surface response. then it feels more like just like any other mattress. sleeping hot is no good though. |
Most esteemed experts: do I stick with this bed for a few days or work on it today? It's been nights since I haven't slept well and if it wasn't for yoga and medation I'd be balling right now. The bed was hard, my hands and arms were still falling asleep if I didn't change postion often. When someone writes they feel like they bottom out does that mean it feels hard? For me, this mattress was a small foutune and I could just take the advice of buying a firm mattress and soften it up. I will be going to the local Get A Bed store, it's almost all high end, way out of my budget but then again, so was this. This mattress was the best I was going to get if I went latex and from what I've read here it sounds like the way to go but not maybe if you weigh 300 lbs? It was not hot, in fact I thought it was cool. Much different than memory but I just might put a slab of that stuff on tonite. To say I am bummed is an understatement but life moves forward, never back, so on I go. Thank goodness I work in a health club and have access to Hydro massage each and every day. Makes me laugh when some say this is written by sales people, count me as just another fat lady looking for the "right" bed, if there is such a thing. |
so it is too hard? alice, you are speaking of the latex from costco, right? the way it is delivered it is on the softer of the two sides, you didnt switch it i assume |
Yep, it's on the soft side. I went to the local high end mattress store and a guy there told me to go home and walk all over it. He also said it would soften up. Not even sure I want to mess with a $1100 bed. I am one bummed cookie BUT they do have the NexGel bed on clearence at this store. I am really thinking about it. I go and lay on all the beds, one has already been sold. This bed is $1400 out the door, no warrenty, no return, I'm stuck if I buy this bed. The company is changing hands, making new covers and the price will triple. It is so nice, exactly what I need/want----or is it? I'm about to start reading more about weight and the correct bed. So far no one has asked me what I weigh and while I stated such it is turning out to be the challenge!! I guess I just squish everything. |
I slept fairly well after folding my king latex topper in half and putting it on top. Now I have slept on every bed there is and I just bought a high end futon mattress with a 2 inch latex topper and a 2 inch med/firm egg crate and, last but not least a super mattress pad to go over the whole deal. |
BTW, all the reading I've done says this bed is made in China! So, they get the rubber from Thailand, ship it to China and it ends up on the plate of rich Americans at a huge inflated price. I sure hope the combo I ordered from Overstock works for me. One queen, high-end futon with springs, one 2 inch latex one 2 inch egg crate and a rockin' pad to go over the whole deal. It's going on a platform bed that I made myself out of an old oak entertainment center and 5/8 inch plywood which will need holes but maybe not? |
Well it has been about a month on our new mattress and I can say that it is better than any expectations that I had. It sleeps cool and is very supportive and comfortable. I did read on the mattress instructions that it can take up to 120 days to adjust to a latex mattress. It certainly didn't take us that long but I can understand the transition period for some. I can't wait until they offer these beds again at Costco as I want to order them for the kids. |
Mine finally arrived yesterday!!! (ordered Jan 1). Couple quick points... 1. the foundation is VERY stout, with a nice cover. I don't love the plastic style top to it, but it is functional, and it gets covered, so it doesn't matter. 2. Delivery company (here in Sacramento, California area) said they are supposed to assemble the foundation at the shop, but customers have told them they don't like that, and now they are assembling on site, and I'm glad they did. Less chance of losing anything. 3. The Cal King mattress came in full size mattress box AND THREE LAYERS OF PROTECTION. They aren't messin around! Outer cardboard box, inner THICK blue tarp like cover, then inner clear plastic cover. They said they typically fold it in half and carry like a taco. I suggested we just slide it while vertical and still in the blue tarp-like cover. Not easy because it is has no spine compared to a traditional mattress, but on one story house, it worked fine. We took the blue cover off while vertical/leaning, then clear plastic cover off after setting it on the foundation. 4. I am VERY picky about smell, and there is NONE. 5. The top cover is really nice. nicer feel than tempurpedic in my opinion. Not that it matters much, because we immediately covered it with a think/breathable waterproof cover, and sheets. 6. Only issue? under the thick nice cover, I noticed what looked like some creases or folds underneath. I was afraid it was a tear in the latex, so I unzipped the top cover. Underneath the outer cover is an inner-stretchy cover! the anomolies I had seen was just from places the inner cover not being "smoothed", but was easily fixed by a few tugs. Putting the cover back on was a real PAIN. 7. Letter came with it said to wait few hours to let it fully expand. I didn't notice any expansion (or need to), but it was a few hours before we went to sleep. 8. FYI, Delivery company was willing to take my old mattress and box springs for $30, which I was happy to do. Overall delivery was great. 9. Comfort? Background: I'm 5'10", 175lb, and have been desperate for more support, waking up in pain due to sagging. I also have broad shoulders, and can wake up in pain or with arms asleep with previous beds, so I have tried memory foam and latex toppers (and combinations) on top of older spring mattresses. I tend to sleep on my side, but on a good bet, I can sleep on my back. Caveat... it's only been ONE NIGHT, and the bed is MUCH MUCH more supportive than any bed in the past, some will call it FIRM, but I think that is because it has great support and not much fluff on top. I am going to sleep on it for a week, then decide if I add a slightly fluffy/gussetted mattress pad on it. I would compare the firmness and support to the tempurpedic classic I tried in the store, but without the "sleeping on sand feeling" of the tempur (not saying that is bad, just drawing comparison about the feeling that when you sync in, it doesn't bounce back like latex). so it's not luxurious the first night, but I am very hopeful. best of luck to all of you! |
I just received the bed yesterday and had my first night on it. I was worried about it being too soft due to the low ILDs when I ordered it. Well, I have it 'soft' side up and I am shocked at how firm this mattress is! I'm 5'8" 205lbs and this very supportive. We'll see how it feels in a week or so, but I may have to buy another piece of something to soften it up a bit. Anyway, so far, I'm very happy with the purchase. By far the best deal for a quality mattress! I'm glad the OP started this thread! |
robd: Give it at least a week. Latex tends to soften up some what over time. |
that's what I'm hoping :) |
This bed is not being sold in Canada ... what a shame. |
I agree with everything you have written jst4fun. My Cal King Latex mattress from Costco arrived on Friday the 22nd. I didnt order it with a foundation we just used our existing box springs and I am going to go to Home Depot and purchase 3/4" plywood to cover them soon. When my wife and I tried it out for the first time after it arrived we really enjoyed it after all we had been sleeping on a 12 year old sagging sealy inner spring mattress. After the first night of sleeping on it I would have to say we are pleased with it. It feels FIRM but my back felt better and I suffer from restless leg syndrome and it didnt seem to bother me but it comes and goes. The second night was pretty much the same as the first as we slept well and not hot as some people have mentioned. My wife weighs 125lbs and I weigh 200lbs and she thinks we need to soften it up with a topper but I want to give it a little more time but may just give in to make her happy after a week or two. My review cant compare to jst4fun but I have tried to mention my thoughts about the latex mattress. Just keep in mind that you dont really sink in much and it feels kind of soft but firm which is from what I understand better for your back but please do your own research on this as this is only my opinion. I very rarely write reviews but from all the good information I learned from this site I felt compelled to write one. Hope this helps a little.

Give me the link to costco for this latex bed please. I have low back pain too. and my Sealy posterpedic plush mattress is killing me literally. Thanks so much. This message was modified Jan 24, 2010 by lowbacpain

well, I was going to try and wait a week, but I gave in and added a 1" memory foam topper, to give it a little bit more "cush" on the top. Just to help me sink in a tiny bit and hopefully prevent me from rolling over to my stomach, which causes me great pain in my back when I wake up. this now seems to be a good setup for side sleeping, and because it is only 1" memory foam, it doesn't mess it up for back sleeping either. My next challenge is a pillow. Down pillow is good for back sleeping, latex is good for side. still searching for the perfect balance. perhaps I'll go back to a tempurpedic pillow. we'll see. FYI: I now have the latex mattress (soft side up), then thin waterproof/breathable cover over the mattress, then 1" memory foam (cheap green-ish color one from Outpost.com), then normal fitted sheet. I love how motionless and quiet the bed is, and even better now that the waterproof cover is covered by the memory foam. Still supportive thanks to the latex. My kids still miss the old 3" soft latex topper I had on our spring bed because it bounced better :) good luck to all of you. hopefully costco starts offering this bed again so others can get there hands on these. let me know if any questions. |
We have spent 4 nights on our new latex mattress. We have gone from an extra firm pillow top spring mattress (10 yrs) to a Novaform Pure Comfort mattress (2 + months) to the latex. This is our first experience with latex so my perspective might be different from others who have slept on the different types of latex in the past. After the delivery I let the mattress air out for a few hours. When I came into the room I thought one of the delivery men must had farted before they left. It wasn’t repulsive by any means but I really did think someone passed gas. As someone had mentioned before, it does have somewhat of a sweet smell but not in a good way! The smell does not bother me and my husband has not noticed it at all. After a couple of days I have noticed a typical latex smell when I first get into bed. Even if I just rub my hands on the fitted sheet I can smell the latex on my hands. I do have a good sense of smell however. Again, it is not overpowering nor offensive. As for the firmness: The NovaForm mattress was SO much softer than our spring mattress. I find the latex much softer than the memory foam. The memory foam is dense. The latex is squishy. My husband says he feels like he’s sleeping on a gummy bear. When I first get into bed, I always feel like I’m about to fall out, even though I’m nowhere near the edge. It’s a little unsettling. That being said, once I fall asleep I wake up feeling better supported than in the memory foam. As you lay in bed your body does sink a little (not as much as the memory foam), allowing the latex to support your body. It also has instant recovery when you move. Also worth noting, the memory foam has no motion transfer, not so with the latex. As I said, it’s squishy. When I move, the whole bed jiggles a little (just a little). I had to find another mattress as the NovaForm was making me hot and I tossed and turned all night long. No heat problems with the latex and so far I am sleeping much better. We have the latex soft side up still but are thinking of flipping it. My husband prefers the NovaForm but that took at least 4 weeks for him to decide that. After only 4 nights on the latex he says he’s not waking up during the night but it’s the “jello feeling” (or gummy bear!) he doesn’t like. My husband is 5’7 170 +/- lbs. I’m 5’5 125 +/- lbs. This message was modified Jan 25, 2010 by becky

Becky, I am still laughing at your description of the smell of your new mattress. Never have I heard a latex mattress smell described like a human being, "passing gas" We all sleep differently, and apparently, smell things differently. For me, my all natural 100% botanically grown Talalay process latex from FloBeds ( who purchased exclusively from Latex International) had a wonderful sweet smell like cookie dough. At least that's the best way I can describe it. It took quite some time before this smell dissipated, and quite frankly, I miss it. I always thought it would be nice to live close to a bread factory as I always loved the smell of freshly baking bread or cookies. Your description of your new mattress smell makes me wonder at the actual type of latex that was used in it. Given your size and weight I would guess that the ILD of your bed is definitely in the soft to medium range. At 6 foot 2" and 210 pounds I cannot sleep on latex that is that soft. I wind up with a backache, or hip pain. I can use a medium piece if it is in combination with extra firm and firm pieces of latex. But I have found the closest thing to ideal for me is, top to bottom, firm, over firm, over extra firm. But even with the softer latex I never did feel like I was falling through it. Not only are we all built differently, but it has become abundantly clear to me that we all feel differently. This message was modified Jan 24, 2010 by eagle2

give the link to costco that shows this latex mattress set. Thanks. |
UGH, hold the phone... I think I have the FIRM side up, instead of the soft side up. I had made the assumption about it being soft side up, because the description at costco, and top of this thread clearly states it is delivered soft side up... well, I just went and studied the side of the foam, where I think I can feel the (and see by shining light through it) the layer transitions... WELL, I definitely have a 3" layer on the top, then 4", then couple thinner layers facing down. THAT might explain why Becky is seeing it as squishy and gummy bear feeling, and I'm feeling it so firm I felt the need to put a 1" memory foam topper on... hmmm. Before I sleep on the memory foam, I'm gonna go try to flip the mattress and sleep on the softer side... wish me luck :) |
FLIP completed. Definitely a two person job, but this thing is like flipping a waterbed. Softer on this side, but won't know till I try it for a few nights. the 1" memory foam topper is standing by :) |
FYI, definitely better with the soft side up, but I would definitely still call it FIRM compared to any pillow top mattress sold lately. I still may add 1" of foam or cover on top, but I'm definitely much happier about the overall feel. Still very supportive. On a Cal King, soft or firm side, I still don't notice much motion transfer from wife's side to my side, and definitely not "gummy bear" or "jiggly". perhaps there really is variation from bed to bed, or with different sizes. |
give link to costco to buy latex bed? It is rude not to reply and keep on posting other stuff. thanks This message was modified Jan 25, 2010 by lowbacpain

The latex matress is no longer available at Costco. It sold out, but it might come back later. |
Thank you jst4fun you are the man; great detective work. I just got home from work and did some investigating also and discovered that the latex mattress came delivered FIRM side up as I can see the 1" layer on the bottom and and around a 2" layer above that. I am going to take the cover off and flip it over with the help of a friend. I wish I would have known about this earlier before I spent hours of research on a mattress topper to make my wife happy. Hopefully flipping it will help. Thanks again. |
it has been 2 weeks since we have slept on this costco latex mattress and i agree with most of the evaluations given by jst4fun and keller30. because of the helpful information given on this forum i also feel obligated to contribute my experiences. the bed does feel FIRM, but still more comfortable than any other mattress we have had. i have pain issues with ruptured disc in the spine and other aging infirmities and the support given by this new mattress is excellent. of course, i don't know how much of the relief of pain can be attributed to some other things i am trying. suffice to say that we are pleased with our purchase. we might be even more pleased to find out that the bed can be softer if we flip it over. but i think it is on the right side. we don't have the strength to fip the flipping thing around. i didn't know enough to ask the delivery people to take away the old mattress, so i'm paying a lot more to get rid of it. our fair city has suspended free pick up services. for future shoppers, keep studying this forum for great ideas. thank you, all. |
They only have twin left but if I read this site correct two twins equal a king? |
http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/E.C.O.-8-inch-Latex-Twin-size-Mattress/3227638/product.html?keywords=latex%208%20inch%20mattress&searchtype=Header you mean this product right here? yeah, the mattress is 8 inches thick, and does contain latex. but here is their info on it: ECO latex twin mattress is made from 2-inches of natural latex on 6-inches of high density foam for a comfortable and restful nights sleep. I cannot find any other latex mattresses on overstock other than this and the 10 inch version which also only contains 2 inches of latex on the base core. |
Hi popo: Let me know how this latex mattress is working. Does it feel soft - do you go down say 2 inches when you sleep on the mattress? or is it very firm? Do you sleep on the side? and if you do, do your shoulders hurt when you sleep on latex mattress from costco? Is the mattress hot? do you use a mattress pad on it? thanks popo |
we're pretty satisfied with this mattress. it does not feel soft at first but it seems to be getting softer. it definitely does not sink 2 inches, but the body feels supported at the necessary places, so the firmness is comfortable.. we sleep mostly on our sides. the shoulders and neck do hurt if we fall asleep tense and the posture is badly aligned or the pillow is throwing the neck off. the mattress is not hot, so far. we covered the mattress with a very light waterproof polyester protector bought at Target for $15.. my husband weighs 165 and i weigh 102. there was a tendency for me to roll towards him, but thast was easily remedied by stuffing a few towels under the mattress on his side. we are using our old box springs with a 3/4 in plyboard. i'm sorry to hear about your back pains. right now i'm between periods of suffering aches and pain. it's crazy what works sometimes and i try anything non-toxic. may you find relief and a good night's sleep. the costco deal is worth waiting for especially when their return policy is outstanding. good luck and happy new year. |
hi, lowbacpain,
Well, we're knowledgeable enough to know that the "latex" mattresses you're touting on Overstock are not latex mattresses. They are PU foam mattresses with 2" of latex on top. There really is a lot of information out there on the web. A lot of us have thoroughly researched the web in addition to sharing our experiences on this forum. Of course, some people just come on and say, "My back hurts, what should I get?" and those people don't get much help on the forum - I think everyone who's done their homework expects everyone else to do theirs too. |
We flipped the mattress about 3 nights ago. There is quiet the difference between the soft side and firm side. Loving the firm side! My husband and I are both side/back sleepers. I think my husband still prefers the Novaform Pure Comfort but I am in love with this latex mattress! While the firm side is much firmer than the other side I do not find it as firm as our old spring mattress (Sealy Posturepedic Crown Jewel). I can still notice a very faint latex smell but it is not strong at all. I really like the instant recovery of the latex when compared to the memory foam. I also found that I need a thinner pillow since changing mattresses. Another plus with this mattress, my cat doesn’t seem to like the feel of it. Therefore, more leg room for me as she’s no longer sleeping with us! forgot to mention, I am not having ANY problems with it being hot. That was my biggest problem with the memory foam. It keeps an even temperature all night. I also find that the latex isn’t as cold as the foam when I first climb in. This message was modified Jan 28, 2010 by becky

I have to say, I'm astounded that such an inexpensive mattress made in China (those two things make me suspicious) is receiving such great reviews. Maybe I missed a great bargain, and I'll be watching for them to come back to Costco. Still need a new bed for my daughter. |
We've been sleeping on this bed for a month now. We love it! |
Sounds to me like YOU don't know what you're talking about. To wit: This is not "a site for flobeds". Flobeds advertises here, yes, but I guarantee you that if you have a legitimate gripe about flobeds or want to post a negative review after having tried one, you can do so. Flobeds has nothing to do with the editorial stance of the people on this forum, at least I have seen no indication of that, having been coming to this site off and on for around 10 years. People like flobeds' customer service and mattresses. Period. Know why there are so few - if any - neg reviews of flobeds? Because they offer high quality latex, free layer exchanges and a refund after that if you're still not happy. What's not to like? [And no I do not work for flobeds, in fact I bought one once and returned it.] A long time ago this site had a lot more reviews of S company mattresses and S company industry people on here. Over time people have learned that S co's make crappy mattresses and so members have gravitated towards latex and home made mattresses of various sorts, and memory foam to a lesser extent. Have a nice day - and enjoy your Overstock.com mattress. This message was modified Jan 29, 2010 by jimsocal

Just called sleep science who makes this bed, it is shipped SOFT side up, if you flip the mattress it will be firmer NOT softer.... They say they will have new shipments in at Costco in a few weeks. I have this mattress and i like it too |
Mine was definitely not soft side up. That may be their intention, but apparently mistakes happen. Look at the layers. Unless their ILD description is reversed in the specs (also in the original post of this thread), then the side with the two thin layers is the softer side. Mine came with two thin layers face down and the thick layer on top. Regardless, it didn't make a huge difference. We ended up trying some different toppers, even with the actual soft side up. Take care. |
We got the queen mattress 3 weeks ago. My wife and I can sleep on anything, but the longevity of latex really appealed to me. I couldn't persuade her spend over $1000 for a mattress, so this really came at the perfect time. Delivery to Queens, NY was great. The delivery guys brought up the mattress in the box with no problems. After unpacking, we noticed that the mattress definitely had a rubber cement smell. For the first two days, we let the mattress air out. After that, the only way you could smell the odor was if your nose was right on the mattress. Currently, I can't smell any odor at all. Here are some photos. The outer mattress cover has a soft synthetic upper and a suede-like lower. You can see one of the carrying handles on the right. Here is the first label on the cover. Here is the second. There is a zipper on the suede portion of the outer cover. After unzipping I found an inner liner that covers the foam. I could not find a zipper or opening to remove the inner liner. You may be able to see the holes in the top layer of the latex. As far as I could tell, the holes were aligned and even. Some of the layers were visible, but it was easiest to just feel the layers by hand. The layers also appeared to be stuck together. There was also a small label on the latex, but I could not read it. Here I am sitting on the edge of the latex. I weigh 210 at 5' 11". The latex did not bottom out. Finally, here I am laid out. We both prefer firm mattresses and could not be happier. |
Excellent review and pictures! Thanks. |
great pictures, looks same as mine in terms of covers, etc. out of curiosity... how did you your layers default? Thin/soft layers on top? or thicker/firm layers on top? From picture online it is hard to tell, but I cannot see a seam within the first couple inches on your picture. take care! |
I approve of this post! I've been waiting for them to come in again. |
It looks like most people are happy with the Costco dunlop mattress. Good, maybe it will help start a trend toward more affordability in the latex mattress segment. It really needs it. I wince when I look at some of the prices. Berty, great post with the pictures. Can you unzip the cover and take some pictures of what's inside? Would really like to see more people do this with their mattresses. It will help everyone. We had talked on here quite awhile ago of maybe getting some posting categories (where all posts are not in just one long string) where we could put pictures?? Mods, any news on that? |
jst4fun, Your post was the one that got me unzipping the mattress. Turned out the mattress was shipped correctly with the soft side up. It was hard to see the layers through the inner cover, but it was easy to feel where the layers changed. BillB, I was trying to model the photos on one of your posts. I tried looking for a zipper or opening on the inner cover, but it looks like the cover is sewn shut. However, since the mattress was so heavy, I did not check the entire cover. I really wanted a shot of the raw latex like your photos. |
My Sealy Truform was like that too. They had a removable cover, zipper, than than made a sheer cover like Costco's shown here. You can't take it off, they don't want you too see it! I got so frustrated one day when I was ready to thrown it in the street I ripped the cover to see what was in there! They glued the memory foam to the firm foam, I wanted to remove it! At least I can see thru the covers on the pictures shown here and see the holes, it looks pretty good. Too bad we can't see the layers. I don't know why they feel they have to glue everything. I would rather move things, or remove theings, LOL. Great pictures again. This message was modified Jan 31, 2010 by Leo3

Berty: I was wondering what foundation you are using, does it work well and built well? The pictures look nice, Thank You Any other suggestions to a good foundation for this mattress as I need one by March. I might change my order with costco to include foundation but I have been on backorder since Dec 30th and nervous that I might have to wait longer. Cant wait for my mattress!! |
I just noticed that one of the tags in the pictures posted says in a big square in big letters "This mattress is intended to be used without a foundation." OK, that led me to wonder a little about terminology. Is a "foundation" the same as "box springs." Are box springs a type of foundation but not the only type? If we're not supposed to use this with a foundation, what are we supposed to put the mattress on? It can't go directly onto a bed frame . . . Maybe it's just because I just woke up, but I'm confused. . . |
that is sort of a bizarre label. although I guess I have some law labels that say "Intended to be used without a foundation, OR with matching foundations". Really any solid level surface will be perfectly fine for this mattress, or a nice strong slat system. |
I spent two months researching mattresses, because I have a bad back and Rheumatoid arthritis, so it was extremely important to me to find a bed that I could sleep on. My husband suffers from allergies and asthma to deal with as well. My husband and I had a chance to sleep on a Tempurpedic mattress for a week at an upscale hotel and found it did not give us the comfort that we had expected. It took too long for my body to sink into the mattress and then I couldn't roll over without pain, because the mattress needs time to adjust to your new body position. The mattress felt hard when you'd initially lay on it, and it never seemed comfortable. So we knew we didn't want memory foam. I also had issues with innerspring mattresses just not giving me the support I needed. Though we did test those out as well and found a couple that felt pretty good, but after reading reviews those came out with bad reviews for overall durability. Cost was an issue too, we didn't want to spend 2000- 3000 dollars on a mattress and then be stuck with it if we didn't like it. Some stores had a return policy, but it was obviously going to be difficult to return. We had decided on latex after all the research and testing out all the local beds. I found the Sleep Science 100% Natural Latex Mattress on Costco’s website. We were a little nervous buying this online without actually getting to lay on it to test it out first, but I felt reassured with Costco’s excellent return policies. So, we bought just the queen size mattress and not the foundation on December 30th, it was delivered on Jan. 12th. The White Glove Service was excellent. They were careful in making sure they didn't bang into any walls and they set it up completely for me. I was thrilled that they did the set up, because it's a very heavy mattress and I could not imagine setting it up myself. We placed it directly on our old box spring and frame, which we reinforced with a 3/4 plywood sheet. We've been sleeping on the mattress for three weeks and we truly love it. We had read that latex mattresses might have an odor when first purchased, but there was no mattress odor at all. My husband likes a firm mattress and I like something softer. Before we received the mattress we thought we might have to turn the mattress over to the firm side. But after sleeping on it, the soft side of it is quite firm, maybe a little too firm for what’s considered the softer side. But, I find it very supportive and it has just a little spring. It forms comfortably to my body and it has helped my back issues. I haven't felt the overheated feeling that I had gotten with the memory foam mattress. Both my husband and I are extremely happy so far with our purchase. I suppose time will tell if it holds up, but so far so good!

piercesmom23, The bed that we have is a Room and Board model that is no longer carried. Its very similar to the Mackintosh Low Footboard Bed. The only difference is that the headboard part is curved rather than straight across. We actually bought the bed before the mattress. We weren't planning on latex until after the Costco one came out. The bed is all steel so its rock solid. The only problem, and it may be a big problem, is that the metal slats are more than 4.5 inches apart. I may need to purchase additional slats to prevent the mattress from sinking between them. When no one is on the mattress, the latex sinks very slightly between the slats. When I am laid out, the bulge is noticeable. To view the slat system on the bed, look up the Parsons Bed on the Room and Board site and scroll through the thumbnails. As for the label, I have no idea. Maybe the covers for the ones with their foundation are different? |
Hello, Been sleeping on the Costco Cal King latex mattress a couple weeks now and even after flipping it from the hard side to the soft side my wife doesn't sleep well on it. She says that she tosses and turns and finds herself waking up on her stomach and having her hands fall asleep. I have been sleeping ok on it although I too find myself tossing some but its mainly due to my restless leg syndrome I feel. I too wake up on my stomach which makes my back pretty sore 1st thing in the morning. Does anyone think that before we return it we should purchase a mattress topper to see if it would help? I really dont want to have to go back to a spring mattress but I have to be honest with everyone here and see if anyone else feels the same way. Thanks for all the good information. I know exactly what you mean about rolling to your stomach. It honestly does not happen much on this costco bed for me, but it used to happen a lot with my previous bed+latex topper. I have found that putting a thin layer of memory foam (1") is a big help in reducing the tendency to roll to your stomach. I would definitely give one a try before going through the hassle of returning, especially when you can get them from overstock.com (we got the greenish color 1" model) for well under $100. We are currently using it on top of our Costco latex bed now. it gives me the support I need, without too much rolling, and a little bit extra sink-in, to help reduce pressure on my shoulder. Side note... for anyone suffering from their arms falling asleep, your PILLOW can play a big role in that. try a slightly thicker pillow. If your neck starts to hurt, the pillow is too thick. trick is finding something in the middle :) This message was modified Feb 3, 2010 by jst4fun

i am putting the right temp topper from costco on, will let you know how it works it is thick, 3 inches, so might be too soft, dont know, it is amazing how much pain i have sleeping on the bellafina tempurpedic, and yet when you lay on them they feel like a million bucks |
Being that you have good basic support with the metal, you could put something like pegboard on it, this would enable it to still breath and would be more than adequate for spanning the 4.5 inches. |
I keep thinking about randys and elaine from Canada. I am in so much pain....they will pick up the Costco latex today and by tonight I will be back on my beloved air bed. My neck hurts so much I can barley stand it. For the 1st time in YEARS I went to the store and bought pain pills. This is a crazy way to live and I know for a fact I'm not crazy. At this point I've tried springs/no springs, mem and latex, I've read for weeks, I'm done and will be back on air tonight! No one is allergic to air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
sorry, remember what i am trying, latex bed from costco with the right temp topper from costco, i will be sleeping on it soon and will make sure i let you know I am sorry you are in pain, life is too short for that, hang in there |
You bet life is too short for pain espically when you were never in pain before! I have found that latex is not for everyone even though I have a two inch latex topper on for my 1st night back on air. Just want to try it and see if it's what is causing so much pain. I would of never thought that foam could cause pain but only a couple of nights on air will tell me the truth! My daughter had a bf who worked in a foam shop, oh, ten years ago and I remember I couldn't sleep on mem then, I don't know what made me think I could now. At least I didn't buy a $4000 bed! Good luck tonight, I'll be thinking of you! |
what is crazy is the first 4 hours i am fine, then it starts to hurt they didnt pickup the temp today so it will be tomorrow probably before i sleep on the new combo of latex and foam topper |
randy, are you talking about costco latex mattress? how does it feel? soft or firm? what memory foam are you putting on the costco latex mattress? 'Randy do you have low back pain like I do? does not this costco latex mattress help your low back pain? Thanks randy. |
I thought you were sleeping on new latex from Overstock 2" piece over a futon and you loved it. What happen? |
Randys, I'm really looking forward to how this combination works for you. I know you must be disappointed about the Bellafina not working. You said in another post how TP feels so good compared to everything else... until it hurts. I agree. The TP's feel awesome... and if mine (Cloud Supreme) works I will be too happy, but if not, the combo you're trying right now is my Plan B. I've learned a lot following your posts. So thanks in advance! |
Hi. Newbie here. I was interested in the Costco all-latex due to price... Are they expected to be back in stock? I've heard good things about this one from several sources. I don't usually shop Costco as it's pretty far out of my area but for a great mattress and a great price I'd make the effort or just order online and have it delivered. |
They might be in the first week of March, check thier website. |
|
April 1, 2010: The Costco site now has the all latex beds for sale again with up to $200 discount. |
Welcome to the forum, Brenda. I believe this is the one: I haven't followed this thread closely but this seems to be the same one everyone was raving about and they said it was coming back to CostCo soon so I will assume this is it until someone corrects me. I don't see how you can go wrong with this, if CostCo allows a return. Is it true that you don't get the taxes back on a return from CostCo, though? Someone said that and I was surprised because when I take stuff back to Ross or Best Buy I get the taxes back, too. How can they charge taxes on something they did not really sell; i.e; something that was returned? Or is it the shipping you don't get back?? That would make sense... Anyway, if you can return it if you are not satisfied, I see no reason NOT to try this mattress. If this is indeed the one everyone was talking about in this thread, then just read the whole thread. You may also want to look at some of the other latex threads posted in this forum.

Sounds like a great deal. I'm a little hinky about the lack of split layers (for a queen mattress anyway). But good grief, that price is a steal compared to what these things normally sell for. Thanks for the heads up, Thrifty. |
Unfortunately, for me, needing a twin size, it's really not as great a deal as the larger sizes. The price for a twin is much more, per square foot, than the king size. I'm guessing the extra is for delivery charges...? Don't know if it's really worth the constraints for this size. This message was modified Apr 2, 2010 by cynicaljones

Folks now is the time to jump in and get this bed! We have had ours for 3 1/2 months and it is the best bed we have ever owned. As stated in previous posts, I did a great deal of research and have personally tried many different beds but for the price this is the best value out there. We opted for the foundation which I am glad we did because it is very supportive and the cover matches well with the mattress. All I can say is that it is worth every penny as we are ordering a queen and a twin to go with our king. |
|
|
Thanks |
The foundation is made of steel and is very strong. It is the exact same size as the box springs so it fits nicely into any exisiting frame. We initially purchased just the mattress but then changed to include the foundation. We like it because it looks nice, is very supportive, and won't collect dust mites etc... The frame was installed at the delivery company's warehouse prior to delivery. |
I forgot to mention that it does have legs so you don't actually need to use a frame if you don't want to. The legs come in 2 small boxes that we currently have in storage in case our decorating needs change. :) |
|
One of the benefits of sleeping on latex is that it does not interupt the sleep of your spouse. The foundation itself does not make any noise either. Good Luck! |
Maybe it doesn't matter much, but has anyone noticed Costco's listed dmensions for the twin and full size mattresses? The twin size is 1 inch shorter and one inch narrower than a standard twin, and the full size is 1 inch shorter.
Full dimensions 54”W x 74”L x 10”H Weight: 121 lbs
Twin dimensions 38”W x 74”L x 10”H Weight: 89 lbs

My wife and I just bought the King Sized version of this mattress. Are awaiting arrival and are very excited to try it out. This forum was a godsend in trying to figure out which mattress to try out and led us to this point. Thanks to everyone here. One question we had that hopefully someone can answer -- we currently have a platform bed that has slats in it that are spaced about 3" apart. Will we be okay putting the latex mattress right on top of the slats or will we need to get some additional support from a foundation of some type? We didn't order the foundation that Costco sells simply because it would make the mattress sit too high for our bed. Thanks. Troy Olson |
Well, I pulled the trigger on this mattress. Ive been planning for 12 months on upgrading from a queen (crappy spring firm + 2in latex on top) to a California King. Last night I pulled the trigger on a bedroom set and today I pulled the trigger on the Costco natural latex mattress. I figure I will try it as is. If I need softer I will get a 2in Talalay or Celsion topper for it and if that still doesn't work I can always return the base layer and go back to springs + latex topper in the end. Based on my past experience with latex turning my terrible mattress into a great one I predict an extremely slim chance I will return this to Costco, plus for the price this mattress really doesn't compare to anything but a mail order latex mattress that has been pieced together from the cheaper latex companies (with much worse return policies than Costco) |
quick update after couple months with our cal King latex bed... 1. Remember they sometimes ship with the more firm side up, and you need to flip. see earlier in this thread for details. 2. the foundation SQUEAKS. Not at first, but slowly it is getting worse and worse. to the point where I can hear it when either of us roll around at night. I tried tightening some of the knobs at the MANY MANY joints of the metal foundation, but it didn't seem to make a difference. could be the few I couldn't reach, but I'm likely going to return or call customer service. 3. we got the cuddle bed topper from costco, which adds just a tiny bit of cushion. not as soft as when we tried 1" of memory foam, but it improves the feel, without reducing how supporting the mattress is. |
Any S-Company ones? Ikea? Tempurpedic? We have a squeaking mattress now, I don't want a new one to squeak or make noise. |
We just bought 2 double/full size mattresses with foundations for our kids. I never thought we'd be able to afford to outfit the whole family with new latex mattresses, but this price made it possible. I hope they are as good as the reviews indicate. Since our kids are still small (and light in weight) I figure they should work out just fine. I'll report back after they arrive. Thanks for the heads up on the fact they were available again.
Now on to getting a SleepEZ 1300 for hubby and I... |
Just curious - have any of you who ordered this mattress this month heard anything regarding shipment? And is there anyway on this forum to be notified when someone replies to a post you have started or are following? This message was modified Apr 10, 2010 by Q119

Hey guys, I'm brand new to the website and to mattress buying in general. I spent about the last 15 years of my life sleeping on the same futon since elementary school so anything to me will be a great upgrade. I just bought a Stearns & Foster Hearthstone Firm II full sized bed and I like it but I want to give the latex a try. Thanks to you all I just ordered a queen sized Sleep Science 10" bed with the matching foundation. After spending $1000 on headphones and $1300 on this bed my wallet is so light that it's almost floating off my desk right now as I type this . I can't wait to lay down on this mattress and I hope that I made the right decision. It seems like a win / win situation especially since if for some reason you don't like the bed then costco will pick it up and refund you with no questions asked. |
Mine are being delivered Saturday morning. Will report back after we get them set up and have the opportunity to lay on them a bit. I'm excited! |
Separately... I'm currently using 1" memory foam + the cuddlebed topper, and pretty happy with this setup. haven't had back pain in many weeks now. Also trying the tempur neck pillow, which is interesting to get used to, but does feel like it holds my head at correct angle. |
Are you all using a mattress pad with this mattress? Or just the cover that comes with it and a fitted sheet? |
After 2 nights on this thing, it is hard as a brick! I don't know how anyone could possibly think it was too soft (and yes, I have the "soft" side up).
Did anyone that thought it was too firm find a resolution? Is a 1" memory foam topper really going to do the trick? This message was modified Apr 26, 2010 by tranceFusion

Our two Costco Sleep Science beds were delivered on Saturday morning! Here's my review: First, about the delivery. I found the delivery company to be professional and friendly. They called to schedule the delivery, called again when they were on their way and arrived on time (a little early even). They assembled the foundations on my front lawn and seemed to know what they were doing; they were quick and efficient. They set up the beds in the order I requested and exactly as I instructed. I have absolutely no complaints. Second, the foundations. They are made of metal tubing, with plastic top panels to support the mattress and then all covered with a cloth cover. They seem very sturdy and since these two beds are for my kids, I have no doubt they will be more than adequate. The cover has tan sueded material around the edges to match the lower part of the mattress cover and together they look nicely matched. Third, the mattresses. I can't imagine how anyone would describe them as too hard or firm. They are too soft for my husband and I (we are larger people), but should be fine for our kids. I do find them comfortable for brief lounging and snuggling with the kids, but just about bottom out at the edge when sitting to get in or out of the bed (for reference, I am 5'-7" and 240 lbs). I haven't slept in one all night yet, but my husband did and said it was too soft, but still better than our awfull inner-spring that we are about to replace. He had some minor back pain upon moving around the next morning. The cover is nice thought nothing spectacular. The upper portion is white cotton material, the lower is tan sueded material. I haven't opened them up, so can't comment on the interior. They were delivered already inside the mattress cover and rolled up in a plastic casing. The delivery men cut open the casing right on top of the foundation. They said it would take about 2 hours for it to fully decompress, but I didn't notice much of a difference 2 hours later. The mattresses definitely have a latex smell. I've heard others describe it as sweet or cookie dough-ish, but I didn't not find it that pleasant. It also wasn't a foul odor, just noticeable. Once they had been sitting a while and had the Luna mattress pads and sheets on them it was only detectable by putting your nose right into the mattress. I found they smell almost exactly like the JC Penney latex pillows I recently purchased, so I don't think their smell was unusual or indicitive of a quality issue. Overall, I think was a good buy (for smaller people, or those who like soft beds). These are our first latex mattresses and I love the substance and weight of them. So much nicer than the bouncy-ness of an inner-spring mattress. |
My bed wasn't scheduled to arrive until 5/10, but much to my surprise the delivery people called this morning and delivered it an hour later! Delivery was great, friendly and professional. I will post more about the mattress (king size) after sleeping on it tonight, but initial thoughts are that it's softer than I expected and very nice looking with the mattress and foundation covers. The delivery guy said that he's delivered about 100 of these and has only picked one back up for a return. |
it is delivered with soft side up, unzip it and flip it |

So my girlfriend and I have been sleeping on the Sleep Science latex mattress (cal king) for about 5 days now. The first 2 nights we slept on it we both agreed it was much firmer than either of us were used to or liked. I went ahead and took the 3in of talalay latex (not sure ILD?) from my old queen bed and put it right on top. 3in of Talalay on this bed makes it basically the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. It is fantastic. Now I am just trying to decide what 3in cal king topper I should buy, but since I have no way of knowing the ILD of my queen topper I bought 5 years ago off ebay Im kinda stuck. Im thinking 3in of the 15ILD Celsion from Sleeplikeabear might be our best choice, but 700 dollars is a steep bet when I dont know if my old talalay was 15 ILD or 30ILD. I suspect it was more in the 16-25 range but I dont know. |
HI Carachi, I agree that the bed is firmer than I like. I am going to try out my old 1" memory foam tonight, then put another inch on it tomorrow night and see which I like better. Then I have to figure out what density latex is similar to the memory foam. But I have to ask...if you are going to spend $700 on a topper, why not return it and go with a Flobed or SleepEz that you can customize? I think that is what I will do if I don't like the configuration I have. |
I have no interest in returning the SS bed because I like the support it provides. Plus for 10in of Latex it pretty much doesnt get any cheaper. Going with a SS from costco + 700 dollar topper = 1950 bucks for a cal king. Going with Flobed 12in or SleepEz 13000 = 2400-2900 for less than 13in of latex, and I won't have the benefit of a Top layer being Celsion (Im a very hot sleeper). If I decided to go with RMM instead for the 3in topper it becomes even cheaper for a 13in full latex bed with pure dunlop support and a talalay top. <br><br> Also I know that my GF and I are very comfortable on the SS bed with 3in of Talay on top, and why mess with a good thing :) <br><br> BTW you are never going to find a density of latex that is similar to memory foam. The two products are night and day. Still I dont see anything wrong with a few inches on memory foam on top of the SS bed, especially if its comfortable to you. Carachi, you're bang on. Why mess with something that is working, and less expensive than either Flobeds or Sleepez! Diane |
You're right - I was considering that I paid $1500 with the foundation, so my thinking was that it would have been closer to $2200 with the topper...but then I wouldn't get the foundation with the Flobed or SleepEz without extra money. I just want a soft topper, but the memory foam makes me very hot. I tried the 1" last night (from my old queen bed) and was hot and had some lower back stiffness. I'm going to double it tonight and see what the difference is. I want a latex topper because I've heard that it doesn't sleep as hot as memory foam. |
I just wanted to add my experience to the pile here. We purchased the Eastern King Costco Sleep Science 10" latex mattress w/ foundation and it arrived about a month ago. Overall, I have been very pleased with the mattress. I am a very heavy person and I was getting hip pain from side-sleeping. I would have to wake and turn over multiple times per night. In the last month, I can't remember waking before the alarm went off in the morning. It's so nice! We did not flip, so I assume we still have the soft side up. I was concerned that with my weight 10" would not be enough or that this particular mattress would be too soft. I have found neither to be the case. My 155-pound husband also likes the mattress (but he can sleep on almost anything). The biggest problem we've had is...you guessed it... the foundation. It really is awful. I tried hard to like it. It didn't squeak too badly the first few days. Then it started, and got worse. Plus, whenever I sat down on my knee or otherwise did not apply even pressure, I heard the plastic crackling. There are clearly areas with poor support. While I am sure people like it, it will not work for us. So, I have started the return process. In place of the Costco foundation, we purchased a new bed frame from IKEA along with the Sultan Laxeby slatted base. It's the most expensive at $200 for the king. The new frame and base are much more expensive than the Costco frame. However, you get what you pay for. There is a "spring" with the new base that was lacking before. Plus, the base can be adjusted on both sides for different firmness levels. We've been experimenting and just a small adjustment makes a big change. I think we will be very happy with the Sleep Science mattress and I'm glad Costco has such a great return policy. I have been dreading buying a mattress for years because I can't tell in a store how I'm going to like a mattress long-term. Not feeling that stress has been wonderful. |
Will the latex mattress become firm if you are able to adjust the firmness level? I mean if you have soft side of latex on upside how can it feel firm by adjusting the slatted base? This is very confusing. |
Roy,
The slatted base has 42 slats. Of those slats, 15 have double slats. When the two slats are adjusted to be held tightly together, they are firmer. When you adjust the slider so that the slats are apart, it's softer. I can't say if the foundation will make the mattress itself firmer. However, the IKEA base is more firm than the Costco base. So, by changing the base I did adjust the firmness of the overall combination. The firmest possible would be to put the mattress on a concrete floor, but that's not really good for the mattress. But, doing that would tell you how firm the mattress itself is, I guess. |
I am technically challenged. How hard is it to put the IKEA bed together? and what about the slats? How do you put them together and how do you attach them to the bed if they do not come already attached to the bed. Thanks. |
|
It's not mentally difficult, just time-consuming. First, you build the frame. It's just the four sides with a metal rail you screw into pre-drilled holes. You also have to put on some tension rods and 2 brackets to hold the center bar. That part took no more than 45 minutes. Then, you open the foundation box and get to work. First, you screw together 4 pieces (king is like making 2 twins, so you do everything twice). This makes a big rectangle. Then you have to insert these rubber holders all along each side. Next, you have to take each of the slats (84 for the King) and thread it through a fabric ribbon. Then you have to put the ends into the rubber holders on each side. Some of the slats are actually doubles held together with slider clips. Once you have the foundation together, it just sits inside the frame on those metal rails. For the king, you have to screw on two additional support pieces that hold the two pieces of foundation together. The foundation took about 2 hours. It didn't require special tools or a lot of thought, just time. |
I think it is very sturdy. You really have to push to get the slats in and most of it is held together with tension. I don't foresee any of them coming out. The slats themselves are strong birch. The foundation, when assembled, is like a unit. The slats and everything are attached to it's own frame. So, you could likely set it in any frame that has rails. I am not sure about setting it on a solid surface. The salesman seemed to indicate that would not be wise, but since we weren't planning to do it, I didn't ask. The foundation sits on rails set along all the frame sides and the center rail that came with the frame (king). |

Hi everyone, The beds were removed from the Costco website only about a week ago, but are back very quickly. It seems the prices may have gone up though. The King with NO foundation is $1599.99. Does anyone know if this is an increase? My loss for waiting I guess! Does anyone have any idea/guess or insider scoop if these are going to go on sale in the next few months?? Just my luck I'll order and they'll come down in price! Also, I'm very interested in how SS fireproofs these mattresses. The website states "Meets the requirements of 16 CFR Part 1633-Federal flammability (open flame) standards". I know many manufacturers use silk wool or other materials, but the majority use formaldehyde or similar chemical mixes. Any idea what SS is using??
Thanks for any info, Grounded |
Hi again everyone, well I wrote to South Bay International with a few questions and they responded very quickly. Below I have pasted the reply to my question. I am thrilled to hear that it is a non-chemical solution to meet the fire-proofing requirements.
Hello:
Thank you for your interest in our product. We use a Fire Retardant muslin fabric on all of our mattresses to meet the 1633 Flammability requirements. This is a non-chemical solution for fire retardant.
The FR Muslin cover is sewed around the mattress and then we put the zip on silk/micro sued cover on top of that. Our mattress cover is removable and washable, where as the muslin must be stitched on to specifications to meet the 1633 requirements. All Costco typically has us put on the marketing is that we meet 1633. I will bring up your suggestion.
Thank you,

Thanks everyone for your postings. Last month I ordered the Queen size latex mattress with foundation and it was delivered yesterday. (Took less than 3 weeks.) Delivery was great, but I have some concerns with the bed itself and was hoping to get some opinions. 1) The tag on the mattress states that it is 126 pounds. The costco site says that the queen mattress is 143 pounds. Is anyone's mattress tag weight much less than what is stated at Costco? Is a 17 pound difference significant when you are dealing with latex? (My mattress manu date is May 2010.) 2) My mattress height is 9" on side side, and almost 9 1/2" on the other. Is anyone's mattress less than 10"? (Or do manufacturers normally 'round up' to 10"?) 3) When I sit on one side of the bed and stand up, I hear a whistling sound. it actually scared my dog! Does anyone's mattress do this? (I'll have to rotate the mattress to see if it makes the same sound on the other side.) I really, really wanted a new bed and was pretty disappointed after my first night sleeping on it -- I woke up several times during the night cause it felt hot (the room temp was only 62 degrees) and my back was aching. I actually woke up with a lower back ache, which is unusual for me cause I can usually sleep on anything without a problem. My husband didn't have any problems last night. I may have to try the firm side. (I'm 5'2" & 130 pounds, my husband is 5'8" & 180 pounds) The foundation is a little creaky, but no worse than my old boxspring. I really want to love this bed so I'll give it more time. But I may have to return it to costco if it continues to not meet expectations. |
RE: 1) I emailed SouthBay Intl customer service and questioned the weight discrepancy. They replied that the stated weight of 143 pounds is just an estimate and that the Costco site will eventually be updated to reflect that. RE: 2) After a few days, the mattress height leveled out. It's about 9.5" tall on both sides. RE: 3) I think the whistling sound was caused by the seams in the foundation's plastic cardboard top. In less than two weeks, the foundation began to make loud creaking sounds, especially on one side. We checked the screws underneath and everything was tight so there was nothing we could do to fix it. So we started the return process with Costco on returning the foundation only. (This did not go smoothly, but it worked out in the end. I think.) After another week or two, the foundation started to make loud creaking sounds on the other side too so the sounds were getting worse. So we put the mattress on our old boxspring and frame. We didn't add any additonal support because our boxspring seems to have adequate support all around. And I'm happy to report that, since we started using the old boxspring, the mattress isn't hot anymore! I wonder if the foundation's plastic cardboard top made the mattress retain body heat whereas the boxspring's fabric cover allows it to breath? We are now really happy with this mattress! |
Looks like they are back on sale, though the price has gone up. $1150 for the queen mattress alone (sans foundation). I'm kicking myself for not getting in on this in earlier deals. Is it still worth it at that price? |
Help, I need some suggestions. The mattress appears to hold body heat and after a couple of hours, I wake up hot. We did put plywood on our box springs (is this keeping it from getting air and that's why I'm hot) as suggested by manufacturer. If I can't come up with a solution, I will need to return which is a shame because I love it otherwise. I'm afraid to put just on box springs because it might sag or not be as firm. I do not want to order another frame. I'm looking for any and all suggestion that would help. Remove the cover? A special kind of mattress cover? Make the plywood into slats?
I have the firm side up which works well for us but we like firm. Firm yet soft, amazing. Bought this because of the technology and Costso's great return policy made me feel safe. Delivery was great, very little smell which disipated in a day. Never got to 10" high. |
Before you return it, I would try a washable wool mattress pad on top of the mattress. I added this item to my latex mattress and it made a big difference in heat distribution. The wool also absorbs moisture better than polyester pads. Do a search on this forum for "Natura Washable wool pad" or "St Dormier" washable wool pad. (I have the Natura but most feel the St. Dormier is a little nicer) They are a bit expensive but worth every penny in my opinion. |
does a mattress pad bunch up as you turn back and forth at night on the mattress? |
My Dormeirs (I have 3) do not bunch up. |
My Natura does bunch up a little sometimes. It doesn't have the elastic sides and is not as thin as the St Dormeir (so I am told). I don't really notice it while sleeping but do fix it now and then the next night before sleeping. I'd go with the Dormeir next time. |
My Dormeirs but dormeirs is not a pad iam i right it fits over the mattress like a fitted sheet, iam talking about pad the one that doesn't go over the sides just on top and give you a strap to slide over the side. |

Hello everyone! I followed this thread closely, reading every comment at least twice! I really enjoyed the pictures and info as I waited patiently for my Sleep Science latex mattress from Costco to arrive. We find it to be perfect. I thought I would have to buy toppers or something to make it softer, ( I probably will in the future), but it is really fine to us right now. I love the feel of the latex. Firm and supportive, yet soft and pliable. And I really do feel (after only 4 nights) that I don't wake up with extreme lower back pain like I used to. The pain is not gone but my back definitely feels better. And now that I think about it, my shoulder doesn't hurt and my arm no longer feels numb. I sleep on my back, side and (unfortunately usually end up) on my stomach. My husband is a back sleeper. I am about 5'0", 140lb he is 6'2" about 250lb. My husband who can sleep anywhere, on anything, at any time didn't have much to say about the mattress. He would scarcely have noticed it was new had I not been badgering him for weeks, starting every conversation with "Latex mattress". I am now in the market for some kind of organic wool pad (any recommendations?) to keep us from sweating into the mattress (eeeeww) as we are currently sleeping directly on it with just a sheet over it. I really want the new organic quilted wool mattress case sold by sleeplikeabear, but it's over a $1,000! Starting to get near the cost of the entire mattress itself!
My question for you guys with this mattress is how tall did your mattress get? Ours is only around 8 inches....closer to 9 in some parts....but no where near 10. It has only been a few days, is it still "growing"? Thanks! |
I strongly urge you to go with the St Dormeir washable wool mattress pad for your new latex mattress. I purchased a washable wool pad for my new latex mattress and it was worth every penny. The wool helps to regulate heat while it absorbs moisture. This model seems to be the favorite on the forum. (Do a search and you will find lots of discussions about wool mattress pads) http://www.snuggledown.com/s/catalog/st_geneve/st_dormeir_wool_mattress_protectors/ Good luck! |
Thank you, markbnh1! I like to think myself internet savvy but was having a hard time finding the domeir or genevieve pad people seem to talk about on the boards. Thanks! I'll be ordering once I convince my husband that the brand new poly/cotton mattress pad ($180 from Bloomingdales) is simply not good enough! |
I agree that organic wool mattress case is overkill. I use this organic wool topper from walmart.com. It works pretty well for me. However, it is not washable. So, I also have a washable wool filled fitted mattress pad over it by Natura. The St. Dormier is a good choice as well. I would tend to go with one of those, over the wool topper, because they are washable. I don't think you will find anything organic that is washable.

I just came across this marathon thread, and appreciate all the reviews and information everyone has offered. I'm considering purchasing this bed from Costco (the Natural Comfort 10" latex), and wondered if any current owners might provide an updated review on their mattress? Has the comfort level deteriorated at all since you started using it? Any body impressions starting to take shape? I'm tall and skinny (6', 170 lbs), and have the astonishing ability to create body impressions in mattresses like it's my job. My wife and I have the Sealy Meadow Hill innerspring mattress from Costco (purchased about 3 months ago), and I've already started to get a "gutter" forming on my side - with the comfort level and support decreasing accordingly. So we're looking to exchange it for something better, and I'm intrigued by what I've read on the benefits of latex. Any thoughts/feedback would be appreciated! Thanks. |
I just discovered this site & can't say how much I appreciate the knowledge and experience shared here. What a find!
I'm planning to purchase the mattress Sleep Science 10" Natural Latex Mattress soon - sort of hoping Costco might come up with another sale - but I do have a question: Someone mentioned having purchased a slatted bed base from IKEA. I was considering doing the same, though given that I am working with a 100-year-old bed frame, I'm not sure the Sultan Laxeby (with 39 slats for a full) will work with the bed frame. I am considering instead the Sultan Luroy instead - it is 17 birch slats for a full-sized bed. The web site is here: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60160217 Does anyone who has this matttress already have any thoughts as to how well such a slatted base like this would work? Is anyone else even using slats? Is there adequate support for the mattress?
Thanks in advance! |
Looks like Costco is no longer selling King size (they have Cal KIng). Does anyone know if they are just out of stock and will sell again in the future, or will I no longer be able to purchase this mattress in King size? |

Is anyone else experiencing these depressions or any sagging? I like the mattress but if the depressions aren't resolved with the plywood, I will be forced to return. |
Do you think the depressions made in the mattress are due to the defect in the foundation. (the foundation being made up of plastic on top of iron tubes?) Do you think that If the foundation was solid that there would not be any depression in the mattress? Thanks. This message was modified Jan 24, 2011 by roy1

Hello All -
I decided to try the Costco Cal King Natural Comfort, 10" Latex Mattress with Foundation (Item # 481982) given the great reviews. Here is my experience: My only problem with the delivery experience was the fact that the white glove outfit Costco chose had NO weekend delivery options, meaning my husband had to take off work to receive the bed. :(Other than that the process was fine. I wanted an Eastern King, however they were sold out. I decided to settle for the Cal King since the reviews were so great, and it was unclear when they might restock the Eastern King. I am a plus-sized, curvy woman (+250) and my husband is around 200lbs. I need a bed where my shoulders and hips can sink in while providing support, since I'm primarily a side-sleeper. I was very excited since I'd seen reviews from others with my stature saying they'd had good luck. Unfortunately the bed did not work at all for me. When I first kneeled on the bed, I felt my knee bottom out, and was very surprised at how firm the mattress felt. I checked to make sure that the "soft" side was up (and it was). I tested it by lying on my side with a good pillow for a little while after it first arrived. It was so firm I felt my shoulder aching after just a little while. My shoulder and hip did not sink in at all... I felt all crunched up lying on the bed. I gave it a whole day to "puff up" from the shrink wrap it had been stored in, hoping that by the evening it would be softer. My first night was painful - shoulder and low back pain, tossing and turning, and a headache int he morning. I slept on the bed for a full week trying to give it a chance. Every night at least one of my arms fell asleep and I had a low-back ache in the morning. I felt unrested, tired, cranky and stiff each morning. On night 3 I even tried putting on my old Eastern King Overstock 3" soft latex topper from my old bed, hoping to soften it up. It helped a little but not enough to make the bed liveable. OH - and everyone was right, the dang foundation squeaked like a banshee after the first few days. Granted, I elevate the bed about 2-3" for gastric reflux, and that made so there was a little angle to the way the feet hit the floor, but my old bed never squeaked like that (and it had a metal support frame, too). They may be solidly built, but they weren't all that attractive and definitely a squeak machine waiting to happen. I will say that my husband thought the bed was fine, so perhaps for people with fewer curves who are lighter, it might work fine. But for BBW's I think this bed is a nightmare! A couple of years ago, when I began my search for a good bed replacement, discovered this forum and started dreaming about a time when I'd be able to afford to buy a really high-quality latex mattress, I had tried about every latex option in my local area, going from bed store to bed store, laying on everything with any latex rumored to be in it. :) It's been a long process for me. So I was really excited to see Costco's option and very disappointed that it didn't work. The experience did help me decide to bite the bullet and buy the one mattress I've tried that had the combo of "sink in" and support that I need. It's called "Organic Comfort Latex Mattress - Cushion Firm King by Electropedic." Though it says it's "firm," it does not feel firm to me. It has the combo of "sink in" and support I need (at least from lying on it in the store), so I'm hopeful it will work. I'm skipping the frame since i don't need an adjustable bed. And it's pricey - about $3K for a King size. But I'm so tired of being tired, and so done with feeling unrested and stiff in the mornings, that I'm finally wiling to cough up the big bucks for a good bed. I think this process is so unbelievably individual - and everyone's bodies are so different - it's nearly impossible to figure out what you need without just putting in the time to go lay on everything you can to figure it out. I was seriously considering buying one of the DIY layered beds, however the Costco experience made me really gun shy on buying something I'd not tested with my own body. You may be able to return the sections and continually recombine them to try and make it work, however the returns are not free, the inconvenience seems kind of high, and I've seen a lot of folks talk about it never really feeling quite the way they had hoped. So since I was lucky enough to lay on one that really seemed right and "sang" to my body from moment one, I am going to consider myself lucky and pay the price to grab this gift and be glad I was lucky enough to run across it. BTW I did research and determine I could've saved a few bucks by buying it online, though shipping would eat up much of the savings... I decided to buy locally since they actually covered the overhead to provide acutal beds for me to lie on and the opportunity to know how much the beds vary! I think it was the right thing to do. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the Queen Embrace Firm Latex pillow by Dormia that the store gave as a purchase gift. It's usually about a $85 item, and at first I thought it would be a little too tall/firm, but I love it now. We'll see how it works on the new bed once it arrives (s/b around March 15th). BTW, when I was talking with the Sleep Store person, she mentioned that a bed that comes shrink-wrapped (like the Costco bed) is a sure sign it's from China (which wouldn't surprise me with Costco's policies and pricing). She said that the main problem with Chinese beds is the varying quality/consistency in the latex, and a bed that was billed as the same ILD, etc can very a LOT in reality due to inconsistent mfg practices. It's possible mine was a lemon... Really hard to say. Wishing everyone good luck in their search for peaceful, pain free sleep. ;) Thanks to everyone who shares their experiences here - it helped me greatly in my journey. I will post another "review," once I have my Organic Comfort Mattress in-house and tested. SKeeter This message was modified Feb 13, 2011 by SKeeter

I just posted a new thread about this, but perhaps I should have just replied here. Costco has a new batch of Sleep Science latex beds in, but they are not latex through and through like the ones that are described in this thread. Rather, they are two layers of latex sitting on top of 6" of polyurethane foam. Just wondering if anyone knows what kind of a difference this will make in the mattress, if it's a good or bad thing, and if anyone has ordered this new version yet? Thank you. |
bump. has anyone tried the NEW latex mattress from Costco? Consisting of latex on top of foam? |
I recently bought this mattress - the full size. I received it close to a month ago & the tag indicates it was manufactured in January. It is difficult for me to wrestle by myself, so I was not able to actually look at the foam layers, but I felt them and from what I could *feel*, there does NOT appear to be a 6 inch layer of polyurethane or other foam - it feels like the 4 layers it is supposed to be.
I also thought I'd mention my experience with IKEA's Sultan Luroy slatted bed base... I'm not that happy with it -- it is really springy. I slept on it for one night with my old mattress and it was springy with it, too, so it is definitely not just the jiggly latex, though it is definitely more noticable with the latex. I don't feel like I sink in unreasonably - the level of support of the mattress is fine, in my opinion, but this particular bed base definitely adds extra spring. I think I'll be making a trip to the lumber yard in order to get some more substantial slats. I think that will provide a better foundation in my antique/odd-sized bed. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else was thinking of the IKEA bed bases. |
South bay international says" comfort layer 4" inch total layer of dunlop 2" top layer - Dunlop 19 ILD 2" 2nd layer - Dunlop 24 ILD
6" HR Polyurethane base - type Petroleum based. 1.8 lb polyurethane 32 ILD/IFD they said it will be here in 5 days hoepfully i made a good choice but if not i can return it "go to love costco" thoughts?
thanks Tim |
So, what do you think of your new mattress? |
