Pillow buying is even harder than mattress buying

I was happy with a polyester fiberfill fill pillow but it got too flat after a year or two. Actually I have two of them. Maybe I could find a zippered cover and combine the stuffing to make one good pillow.

I tried a funky pillow I found online designed specifically for side-sleepers. It was shaped on the underside to provide channels for your arm. It was supposed to be memory foam, but it sure didn't feel like memory foam. It just felt like plain old foam foam to me, so I sent it back.

I tried a Nuform solid latex pillow from Bed, Bath & Beyond, but it was way too firm so I took it back.

I am now sleeping with a Tempur-Pedic "body pillow." It's really just a skinny king-size pillow rather than what other companies call a body pillow, but I love the size. It's very "huggable." It's comfortable when I wake up in the morning, but it's over-firm when I go to bed at night. I need a pillow warmer.

There really needs to be some better system to picking a pillow than this trial-and-error business.
