Preferred platform bed frames
Hi all, I currently have a queen platform frame that sports two rows of upward facing wooden slats. The ground clearance is great at 13" so I can store tons of stuff under the bed. Only issue is since the slats bend upward to provide support, it leaves the middle of the mattress not as well supported. Think of laying your mattress on the "M" in the McDonald's logo.
Reading around the forums I've seen some talk of the Nomad bed frame, though the reviewers on Amazon seem to notice the middle support beam pushing through the mattress, since it isn't flush with the rest of the platform bed surface. This has me really worried. I do see some fully metal models on Amazon that seem to provide perfectly flat support all around. Anyone have one that can chime in... or that can provide any input in general? Thanks This message was modified Aug 9, 2010 by Relaxo
