Advice
So I purchased 3 layers of 2.8" latex. The configuration is xfirm, firm and medium. Both my wife and I are side sleepers. She is 5'7" and 140# and I'm 6' and 200#. My wife loves the bed exactly how it is, but unfortunetly I am having some back pain on the upper part of my back. It seems my hips are sinking in, but my sholders are not, thus creating an arc upward from my mid back to my shoulders. My wife wants to fix it for me, but she is worried that if we add a soft layer, it may hurt her back. Im also a little worried that if we add a soft layer my hips will sink in too far and I will start getting pain in my lower back. Any thoughts? |
Re: Advice
thesultan4, so your latex cores are not split? Maybe you can split them so you only have to adjust your side of the bed. I think all latex beds should have split cores so each partner can adjust the bed to their comfort level. Due to your overall bigge size and weight, I feel your back is hurting since your bed is too soft. I feel you need firmer latex cores under you and a think soft topper over them to cushion your pressure points. |
