Anatomic Global opinion?

My husband and I are considering buying an Anatomic Global bed - the Altus 7 - which is made for Relax the Back and sold under the name "Pure Fit".  It is less expensive than Tempurpedic and supposed to be much cooler as well as much greener.  Does anyone have experience with this memory foam mattress and/or Anatomic Global or buying from Relax the Back?  We are switching from a Kings Down mattress which has sagged after 6 years.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Anatomic global makes an awesome mattress!  We've had ours for 3 years and it's as good as the day we first got it.  It doesn't sleep hot like Tempurpedic.  I highly reccomend a mattress from this company!

I would like to know why your mattress is great and ours is sagging already!  Which mattress do you have?  Ours is the Ascent 6 (12" thick, 6 total layers).  Do you ever turn it? We were told that wasn't necessary for memory foam mattresses and it wasn't even a year old when it began sagging.  We have made contact with the Customer Service Manager at Anatomic Global, who has been very nice, but it has taken about 2 weeks to finally get a call from the "Mattress Marshalls", who are supposed to come look at our mattress and assess it for Anatomic Global.  They can't come until late in June so it will have taken 2 months just to get our mattress looked at!  And I have my doubts if their opinion will make any difference--I think we may be stuck with a bad, very expensive mattress!

We have an Ascent 4.  It was too firm in the begining, but we knew that it would be firm because the salesman said it would soften up a little bit...and he was right.

Yes, we rotate it once in a while, but neither of us are big people so beds last us a long time. (Not saying that you are)

We bought a less expensive Anatomic Global bed for the cabin and one for the guest room.  Both have worked well.

About a year ago, we bought this Eco bed from a firm in San Diego. It was pricey. We were assured that this would be an amazing bed. Our salesperson assured us that an Anatomic Global Eco bed was the best bed on the market.
Six months after our purchase, I began having horrible back aches. I have never had any back problems ever in my entire life. Then the pain started to radiate to my hips. This was so painful,  that i needed to sit with a heating pad on my back for hours at a time. I simply could not understand why i was in such pain. We have a vacation home, with a regular pillow top bed.  I slept on it for a week, and i thought i had a new body! I had not one pain--no back pain whatsoever. So, i knew it was the Eco Memory Foam bed.
I immediately contacted the vendor in SD, and was told that this should not be happening, and to contact the company immediately.
I then called the company, I spoke to the head of Customer Service, Elaine, who informed me that "The Mattress Police" had to come and inspect it, per my warranty.
Four un-returned calls later, and three more weeks of excruciating back pain, the inspector finally showed up. He declared that this was not in my head. I did indeed have a sagging mattress. I finally knew exactly where the back pain was coming from.
The next phone call I got from the company was ridiculous. I was informed that yes, my mattress did indeed sag. However, it only sagged 1/2 inch. For my warranty to kick in, it must be sagging 3/4 inch.
Elaine suggested that despite the horrific back pain, "maybe you should sleep on it another three months, then we will send the inspector out again." also, "We have done this before, (scheduling a second inspection.)".
What a ludicrous suggestion. To intentionally inflict more pain on my body just so her other 1/4 inch can be measured? To make my back hurt for another three months just for one quarter inch? Give me a break. How is that Customer Service?
My advice to you--Don't buy this bed, this model or any product from this company. Any company that wishes for you to be in constant pain just to satisfy the terms of their warranty doesn't care a single bit about their customer. Any so called "inspector" can make the results short a quarter of an inch. A sag is not a sag until it reaches their ridiculous parameters. The customer is not important here, not as important as a measurement. This bed will sag after 6 months, and cause you horrific pain in your back and hips. Buyer beware!!
