Hello,

I found SnugFleece wool mattress topper / pads on a special twinXL site.  Anyone know if quality wool toppers offer pressure relief anything like dense memory foam, like 4lb?

I've seen the $350+  organic wool toppers, but that price is not going to happen soon.

You could also look @ natura wool toppers, comfort plus, or super comfort plus depending on how much softer you want it. they do put more wool in these products for the price than anyone else, just make sure its the non-organic versions.  your protect a bed would simply go right over the top to hold them in place.  but nethertheless I can't help but feel pain knowing that these wonderful things are being protected by a plastic cover instead of a cotton or wool filled protector lol.  but yeah, I know you don't want to throw good money after bad too.

Thanks! Word on that then some good news ....

I may want to replace the protect-a-bed with some type of wool or natural mattress protector.   My SleepEZ foundation is coming in on Thursday.

Last night I found good positions for laying on both sides.  I was doing quite well sleeping on my 'tender' right shoulder.  I'm not going to get too ahead of things, but the bed seems to be looking quite good!

Wool used under the mattress tick is supposed to wick away sweat and heat during the night.

By the way, do not think in terms of real wool like you see on sheep, this is synthetic or carded wool they use in bedding. It looks like a polyester fiber.

Few companies offer wool in their quilted covers. These toppers and mattresses are generally more expensive.
