Wanted to bump this thread and see if anybody had any feedback on where I could get this bed, other than paying a premium buying it from the hotel.  I just recently stayed at the Aria and really loved their beds.  I slept undisturbed for a week, it was amazing.

The only thing you can tell from that is that it will last at least a week.  You need to find out what's in it and how it is manufactured.  If it has any poly foam, it will probably start sagging in about a year or so from my experience.

"Custom" orders for hotel chains, etc. are typically "custom-made" by 1 single change to an existing line to make it exclusive. For example, the "Heavenly Bed" from the Westin hotel has one extra row of coils throught the middle third of the bed - 815 coils instead of the 800 coils in the Simmons Beautyrest Classic... however, with that one exclusion, the bed is a Beautyrest Classic -- with an additional $1000 in bedding on top of it drastically changing the overall feel of the mattress.

If you can get coil count and when it was manufactured, you can get much more accurate comparisons in a store near you.

If you are looking at Queen sizes and it has 660 coils and manufactured in the last year (or so) you can probably go into any store carrying the Posturepedic line-up and ask to look at their top 3-5 beds depending on how many models they represent on their floor... the trick is to know what it feels like without all of the other stuff that hotels put on their beds to help preserve them from the various types of end-users found in hotels (various types of mattres pads, feather comforters, luxury linens, etc)

Happy Hunting!

I stumbled upon this mattress, while I was looking for a hotel in las vegas. Several reviews mentioned the good mattresses and the good sleep they had.

are you saying the 815 coils vs the 800 actually does make a huge difference in the quality and comfort here?  or are you saying you can save huge and get the Simmons Beautyrest Classis and have almost the same?
