Falling in the crack between pieces of latex?
Some of the Latex stores emphasize how they can combine different pieces of latex to create a customized bed for 2 people.
Wouldn't that create a "crack" in the middle that one would notice?

Re: Falling in the crack between pieces of latex?
If you've ever seen a latex mattress kit, the cores fit very tightly inside the cover. You won't feel a separation, however, if the two sides have very different firmnesses, you would probably feel that one side was much softer than the other if you were lying in the exact center. Usually if you're configuring a mattress to accommodate two partners each one would sleep on their own side of the bed, not in the middle. |
Re: Falling in the crack between pieces of latex?
Ive slept on a queen sized latex topper for about 5 years. The topper split down the middle (at the seam) within the first 6 months. Still I have never fallen between the pieces. The foam is quite difficult to slide along any surface so once it touches your mattress it effectively never moves. Because of this if you line up two pieces together and lay between them they don't slide apart and you never really feel the crack. |
