What is the cheapest method of obtaining this?

I've found 3'' 28ild talalay latex on ebay from ma 100% seller for about 370 (CA tax).  This seems a bit expensive, and was hoping that there would be some alternatives that somebody could provide.

Thanks a lot.

jorge.

i'm not sure what i'm trying to achieve either.

i got the 6'' of 32ild from a friend, and was just going for 28ild on top of that to simulate his configuration.

but i just set it up today, and i could probably simply sleep on 6'' of 32ild.  i may give that a try for a while.

now i need some sort of mattress cover, because all i have is the foam.  any comments on that?

Not sure what type of cover you want, but I went this route. I LOVE this material.. so I had to order one.

Foamorder.com will make their Diamond Quilted zippered mattress cover to any size. The upholstry is padded with polyfil and 1" of soft latex. Since they custom make this case it might be possible to get it without the extra latex. You'd have to work that out with them. I was told that SleepEZ will sell its mattress cover, padded with wool batting, without buying the latex from them. Shawn is pretty accomodating. Sunset Medical also has a quilted zippered mattress cover available. All of these choices make your latex cores look like a regular mattress when assembled.

Foamorder is the most expensive--probably due to the 1" built-in latex topper in the cover. SleepEZ is in the middle price wise. I've seen this cover and it's very nice for the money. Sunset Medical seems the cheapest, if price is a big consideration.
