I'm in the market for a new bed setup.  I went to the big box furniture retailer and liked the feel of the Stearns & Foster Cove Haven, which has 7 inches of latex, I believe on top of some coils.  I cannot find any research on that specific model but have decided against any Stearns & Foster because of reviews generally complaining of sagging  on all teir products in fairly short order.  I've read great reviews on the SleepEz latex system but I think I'd prefer either 3-5 inches of latex on top or a pillowtop.  Because the the good reviews on quality for SleepEz, I thought I'd inquire about the innerspring model with latex on top and that led me to the Euro Pillowtop.  Anyone have any experience with that bed or can recommend an alternative with the feel of the Stearns & Foster but with better durability.  As an aside, I live in Omaha and will visit the Omaha bedding Company this week to sample their offerings.  Any suggestions on their products is also appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

As you may have seen in my post, i slept in an OBC bed last year, and absolutely loved it. However, i can't recall if there was NO motion transfer, or a little. Maybe you could do a little sleuthing for me when you go! The mattress that was so great was a T446 (king-size)...Maybe you can check it out, and save me a visit to Omaha! ;) I don't know much about the other mattresses you mention. Thanks!

I just learned today that Omaha Bedding does not have a showroom or even a website.  That makes it tough to evaluate.  But thanks for the reply.

Really? Can't even try out a mattress there? You'll have to go to a Four Seasons Hotel, then! ;)

Wow, how is that for being positive about one's product?  Although, in theory, one should sleep on a bed before buying because that is the only way you'll know exactly what you are getting!!!!  That's how I figured out what I needed in my bed eventually.  It really cuts to the chase.

problem is, now i feel hesitant about buying a bed from Omaha because i can't try it out again (loved it so much a year and a half ago, but that was before my INSANE sensitivity to partner's movements!). I wonder if the Four Seasons' hotel would let me test it out for a few minutes (because i surely can't fork over $400+ to sleep on it for a full night!)? Then again, i don't live close to any Four Seasons hotels, so i'd have to travel to get to one....*sigh*!

I just spoke to Omaha bedding Company, and it turns out that they DO have a showroom...So, you should go and try out the mattresses! Also, the salespeople are very knowledgeable--i just spoke with one--over the phone.

Now if i could just get to Omaha... ;)
