Latex foam bed advice

Due to my back/neck problems, I can't sleep on either of traditional mattresses (the springs and hardness causes me problems) or traditional memory foam mattresses (the sinking causes me problems). Latex foam seems to be the answer to that- though I haven't been able to get a hold of any to try. The best sleep I've managed so far was on a Sumo brand bean bag chair (on the largest size, of course), with its soft, yielding firmness, but it doesn't make for a particularily good bed, as it drops form, settles, and otherwise doesn't hold to the needs of a bed.

Any advice on what I should be looking for in bed composition? Dunlop, Tralalay, foam base, solid base..?

I'd love any specific recommendations you all might have, especially ones below 1000$.

So far, given my ideal price range, this seems a good choice, in theory at least: http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/E.C.O.-Luxury-Latex-8-inch-Queen-size-Mattress/3227649/product.html

Anyone have any idea how that bed performs, and if it'd suit me?

Here is my situation: I have found the good fit with tradiational spring mattress (extra firm bed with thin soft top layer with latex & memory foam).  But the problem is that any slight sag cause me to have lower back ache.  And I didn't have good experience with last 2 spring mattresses, because they started sagging in just 2-3 years.  Also, I cannot use memory foam because they are too soft and not enough support.

So I recently went to Latex.  The jury is still out.  I purchased Sleep EZ 10,000.  After 3 swap-outs in 2 months, I think I have found the "best" fit possible with latex.  But even with the "best" possible, latex is not as comfortable compared to spring mattress.

If you can try out latex, then at least you can judge for yourself.  If you cannot try out latex in person, my advice is to not go the Latex route unless you have absolutely exhausted other options.  It is a big hassel to identify the right fit.  And even then, you might or might not find latex to be right for you.

The general input on this website is that latex is superior to latex/foam mix, because latex is natural but foam outgasses chemical.  The ECO model you pointed to is latex/foam mix: 2" latex and 6" foam.  To me, the outgassing is not a major concern, as support and comfort without backache is my absolute priority.  And unfortunately support/comfort is a personal preference and next to impossible to provide advice.  Here is my experience.  I purchased mattress from Costo that is also latex/foam mix. I found that way too firm.  With the all latex bed (like Sleep EZ), Dunlop is firmer and better for folks who want to firm bed.  Talalay in general is too soft for my taste (it is like memory foam, without the memory effect or the smell).   I currently have Sleep EZ 10,000 with Firm Talalay Blend on top, Xtra Firm Dunlop in middle, and Firm Dunlop at bottom.
