Hello all.  Thank you for a very informative forum.  I just bought a new innerspring mattress (Berkeley Ergonomics) and I love the support it gives me, but I need more "cradling" for when I side sleep.  The firmness bothers my shoulders. I was thinking I need a latex topper (prefer a natural material).  The mattress has a 1" thick, firm layer of talalay on top.  I know I should try things, but was hoping for some educated guesses as to what would work as I just spent a huge amount on the mattress.  I am 6'5" and 235lbs. and my wife is 5'9" and 135lbs.   I was looking at Foambymail (very reasonable) and was thinking a 2" layer (kingsize)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Erik.

The latex built-in to the mattress is a 1" layer of "firm", don't know the ILD.  I was thinking of adding 2" more, possibly a little softer.  Wife needs more cushoin also.  Thanks.
