My wife and I were at a local bed store (City mattress) and they had a laytex mattress that they make.  We went in looking at the Temperpedic Cloude Supreme.  She liked the TP but liked this latex mattress more.

Are there any advantages for a latex over TP?

Also, I saw this bed was posted on Costcos site which is made by Sleep inovations the same company that makes alot of there memory foam mattress.

Anyone heard of any feedback on this?

  • 1.5" Plush poly foam
  • 1"  Plush latex
  • 1"  Medium latex
  • 1.5"  Medium hybrid latex
  • .5" of latex lumbar support
  • Support core: 7" Soy based HD poly core

looks like you'd be paying a good chunk of change for not a lot of latex.

My understanding is TP is pretty warm, where latex not so much so.   I haven't gotten my latex mattress yet, but companies like sleepez, flobeds, etc. seem to have decent return policies and allow you to exchange layers while you're figuring out what level of firmness/softness is best.

Best of luck.
