Does anyone have any feedback - positive or negative - about Bedtime Mattress Company or Mulligan Mattress Company in Portland, Oregon? Did you like their beds? How was their customer service? Thanks for your help. |
Anna, Since Mulligan Mattress sells latex mattresses only, I'm assuming you're looking for it. I live in Oregon also and did research who had latex before I bought my bed a few months ago. All I could find was three businesses. One was an A-1 Foam Rubber out on Stark SE that really only had a lot of PU foam and one piece of Talalay latex that I thought was expensive. Another was Ikea; you can actually lay on their mattresses but they don't really have a lot of specs as to what is inside the mattress cover. And I thought they were also a little expensive too. The 3rd was Mulligan Mattress. We went and talked with the owner, very nice guy who does it all. He owns the store, makes the mattress, delivers and sets it up.... He quoted us approx $1700 for a King sized 6" dunlop latex core, with a 2" talalay topper, all enclosed in his nice mattress cover, with a slatted foundation piece, delivered and setup. Not bad at all. The post is here that I made about this. He is worth going and seeing and we both had a good feeling about him. We did end up going the do-it-yourself route through Foambymail which was quite a bit less in money but did have some risk involved. Haven't heard about Bedtime Mattress... Looking them up on Google maps doesn't look too impressive as it shows and old warehouse type of building. This message was modified Jan 30, 2009 by BillB

Check the BBB website for your locality to see if there is any feedback--positive or negative-- for any merchant you are thinking of doing business with. |
Sorry I don't have feedback about those actual companies in portland Oregon. But I do have a Foamex Contact in Portland. So many problems locating actual Foamex brand for mattress projects online. They can get you any Foamex brand on the official Foamex website. http://www.foamex.com/brand.php A foamex rep calls them 3 times a week. They are very nice to me, I don't work for them. I live across the river in Vancouver WA The company is Perfect Fit http://www.perfectfit.com This company has a warehouse in portland. Lots of special foam for cores or toppers from Foamex, like energia, reflex HR, reflex natural, reflex bounce or venus. If you call perfect fit, ask for Gary. He can help you out. Just make sure you know the "correct name" of the foam you want from foamex website so Gary can find the right foam. Thanks. This message was modified Feb 18, 2009 by Phalse
