I'm close to getting a memory foam bed from foambymail. I've been back and forth over the base.
I'm 5'11" and weigh 195lbs.
I prefer medium (in firmness) mattresses.
I'm a back sleeper.

My current favorite is 5" HD36-HQ+4" 5lb memory foam.
Will this be too soft ? Should I go for the LUX-HQ base ?
Some people have said that the LUX base is too hard.

Also, Connie said that the memory foam would be glued to the base
and that I did not have the option of having them being not
glued, somthing about shipping.

Hi,

I would like to know what is the difference between between the Lux HQ and the HD36 High Quality .... It appears to me that it is simply the ILD rating ... with is 45-55 for the Lux HQ and it apparently will last 16 years instead of the HD36 HQ which is an ILD rating of 32-38 and it has a smaller shelf life ...

Is that right?

I believe ILD ratings are not related to lifetime, and that both LUX-HQ and HD36-HQ should have similar lifetime.

No, the HQ is more dense (weighs more) and will last longer.

Both Lux-HQ and HD36-HQ have the same density.
Lux-R and HD36-R have a lower density and a smaller life

I would love to get back to back sleeping on a new mattress.

Is this product PU and can anyone tell if it off gasses?
