I need to buy a king-sized mattress and am looking at the Sealy Posturepedic Springfree which is a latex mattress at $1700 or the Comforpedic which is a memory foam for $3800.   I currently have a queen Comforpedic which I love but we didn't pay anywhere near the $3800 at the time and I'm having a very hard time even contemplating spending this much money on another Comforpedic.  With that said, does anyone know anything about the Posturepedic Springfree?

I know that there is very little latex inside the mattress, and it has several layers of PU foam, which will most likely break down very quickly and cause craters in your bed . . . look at US mattress to see what is inside the Springfree.  The website has a chart of all the Simmons/Sealy/Serta "latex" mattresses and breakdown of what is actually inside these mattresses.  They aren't 100% latex.
